Sid walked around asking people whether they had seen Cassie. Everyone he asked seemed to not like the fact he was there or that he looked quite messed up. He wasn't sure what to think about the world now. It was all new considering he had never been to new York. He turned a corner and stopped in front of a restaurant. He turned to look in but he hadn't realized Cassie was there until he turned back to the road and then back again to the restaurant. He spotted Cassie just as she turned around from the counter holding a tray of food. Sid quickly rushed in to the restaurant hoping to get to talk to Cassie.
He watched as Cassie walked in to the staff room. He was late. Again.
"Bullocks" he muttered.
Sid sat down and waited for Cassie to come back out. A few minutes went by and suddenly Cassie came out of the staff room and waved at her boss saying she was going home. Sid watched Cassie numbly and forgot what he was doing there for a few minutes but then snapped back to his senses and followed Cassie to her apartment. He walked up the stairs following Cassie and waited until she walked in through her door to go ring the bell. No one answered.
"Cassie Open the door. Cass! Cass! Open the door right now I don't care how much you hate me just open the door" he said.
He was trying to hold back tears the best he could. He was also hoping she would open the door. With one last bang at the door he slid down slowly and began to cry just like he did all those other times he lost Cassie.
"Hello Sid" said a very familiar voice.
Side turned around to find Cassie standing there. He got up smiled and grabbed her and hugged her tightly.
"Never will I be the Idiot I am now" he said.
Cassie smiled and kissed him gently on the cheek and whispered the three words he wanted to hear so badly.
"I love you" she whispered.
He smiled and whispered back the same words.
"I love you Cass. You are my world and I will never let you go again no matter what" he said in a whisper.
He loved her for real now he had before but he hadn't realized until a while after Cassie had almost killed herself but now he knew and now he was going to do everything in his power to keep her.
