Authoresses Note: A spontaneous notion that had to be written down, no real plot to be honest. Disclaimer as always, I own none of these characters simply play with them. Reviews appreciated.
& so she bled. Hot crimson life spilling out, slick against her fingers.
A dim shout pierced the fog gathering around her mind, pulling her down. Looking up she saw a flash of platinum hair moving impossibly fast toward her, but not fast enough. As her knees hit the earth he reached her, frantic & scared.
Strong arms encircled her, supporting her weight as her strength slipped away. Pale hands joined hers trying to stem the flow, desperate to save her, to keep her with him.

Tears spilled over as he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and pressing a chaste kiss to her forehead before pulling her body closer to him and watching her face.
Her heart fluttering & failing she held his hand all the tighter, wanting to erase the terror she saw in his face. As the battle raged on around them, nothing touched the two lovers. Locked in their own private world one last time.
Lips mouthing the words `I love you'; she smiled imprinting his face in her mind forever, burning the image into her memory. The last sigh escaped her lips as he held on to one last thought.
Bastards may have won this battle, but she was going home.
Not much but it was bugging me, reviews please.
