Their faces. Their tiny, smiling faces with eyes full of gratefulness - that's what Bolin lived for. Every time he got to deliver a box of food to a scared little boy or girl during his tour of the Earth Empire with Kuvira, he remembered all too well what it was like to go without. It felt so good - feeding the hungry, saving the oppressed, bringing order out of chaos. Here was a noble job, if ever he'd had one. He loved to know that now he really, truly was a hero. Opal and Korra will be so proud.
