Alright, this will be a Hobbit/Dragon Age crossover for a couple of chapters until it will solely be the Hobbit universe. I hope you enjoy the story I am trying to create.
And just to point it out, it will be a story, not journal entries, but there will be entries mixed into the chapters eventually just so you engage with Lissa a little more than the characters will see… for a while at least.
Dear Diary,
Orzammar, an underground metropolis, the thaig is located deep beneath the Frostback Mountains.
"It is an awe–inspiring sight, a great city of stone standing within a vast cavern, poised over a sea of molten lava. There the forges ring loudest, and the finest smiths create works that are the envy of all races. Countless thaigs were lost in the First Blight, when the darkspawn poured out of the Deep Roads like smoke. With each generation, more of the Deep Roads had to be sealed, more thaigs lost forever. Now only Orzammar stands—the last bastion of the dwarven race and its finest creation".
The kingdom of the Aeducan House, Queen Atira and her King Consort Thurgrom, the once exiled Princess, daughter to King Endrin Aeducan long ago became a Grey Warden alongside the heir to the Ferelden throne Alistair and defeated the Blight and the Archdemon alongside their loyal companions.
Now known far and wide for her brilliance in strategy and willing heart, the young Atira settled down on her rightful throne and married her true love from her youth, young Lord Thurgrom Gavorn.
Together they resealed the entrance to the Deep Roads and ran off any remaining darkspawn on their lands. Together they bound all three races of the Fereldan country, elves, humans and dwarva under a peaceful alliance of trust and competence. Together they healed the once broken and failing city of Orzammar into the thriving, welcoming kingdom they now proudly rule.
Together, even though her blood is running with the darkspawn taint, they bequeathed a child to their throne. A rightful, true heir to the kingdom. A princess, and the Queen and King beamed with honour and pride as they looked upon their daughter and named her Alisaera Aeducan, the jewel of Orzammar, the future Queen, the Diamond Princess of the Dwarva.
That would me. Well that was me when I was born about sixty years ago. Mother just two days ago requested this little journal for me.
"One day my jewel, you will look back on your life and wish you remembered how you felt and what you thought… I know I did" she had said softly as we ate dinner that night. Her voice was melancholy as she talked and all I could think was how brilliant, yet time consuming, this journal could be.
So here I am, talking to myself as I write like some mimicking bird. I guess Mother could be right eventually, in the future, not like I can do much just yet.
"Too young little bird, wait till your eightieth name-day, that day I have no doubt your mother and myself will begin your real training!" Father had jovially announced as I engaged with my tutor about royal behaviour and lifestyle. Blah.
Anyway, enough said I believe, better not keep my parents waiting!
Lissa, Age 60.
There's Lissa for you! She will be developed as we go and grow and mature. Even in the next chapter she is older. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and no harsh words or flames because that's just pathetic. Thanks for reading dearies!
