Prompt: Vindictive
A/N: For dracodew17, a short drabble. I'm sorry it took me so long, and I hope that I was able to achieve what I set out to. Not beta-d. Feed back is love.
She is rapture in his arms. A sweet blend of ecstasy and nirvana that moves fluidly against him. Lithe and tantric across a cloud into the swirling abyss that is his passion.
His fingertips slide along the curve of her spine evoking a twinkling giggle that ignites a psychotic madness deep within his heart and he carefully leans her limberly over his arm.
She gasps and he is lost to the monumental sense of achievement that thrills his bones. That makes his mouth quirk in supreme fulfillment.
Keeping his wolfishness in check, he presses his mouth to hers and tastes the nectar of victory and he knows that he has finally gained all that he deserves. That this is atonement for all that was stolen from him.
She's clutching at him with absolute adoration, his name ghosting past her lips and in her great brown eyes, he sees everything and love. So much love.
Before she can recover, he twirls her away but never releases her palm. As he had promised to never let go.
She laughs again, a darkly rich sound that hums through his veins, and her hand reaches up to push away an errant curl, a wink of silver encircling her finger.
He smirks.
His eyes flash to another's and he sees.
He sees the vermillion hatred and covetousness in the blue of those depths.
And he feels he has won. That he has broken the man to pieces and torn his dreams to shreds.
It fills him with mirth and eagerness and he returns his attention to his bride. Twisted thoughts ambush him and he finds that he is keen to have her alone. To mark her, to own her. So that she shall never belong to any other again.
With a short pull, she crashes against him and he whispers heavily into her ear, making her blush prettily and she nods before allowing him to lead her away to their marital bed.
The next morning Ron Weasley receives a vial containing a silvery wisp of a memory and a note that tells him: you stole my life and now I'm living yours.
And Ron Weasley feels the tragedy of Draco Malfoy's vengefulness.
