Summary: When Sidney and her best friend Bradshaw start spending time together, sparks begin to fly
It had started as an evening with a friend. Nothing more and nothing less then
two very close friends spending some time together. Sidney and Bradshaw had
watched a movie, eaten a huge mountain of popcorn and had talked about
everything that came to mind. But not, a few hours
later when they sat close to each other on the couch in Sidney's living room it
somehow felt like so much more. Sidney had halfway through the movie leaned her head against Bradshaw's strong chest, he being his usually considered self put his arms around her. Sidney were laying in Bradshaw arms, she loved the strength of his arms around her, it gave her a complete sense of safety and happiness Bradshaw noticed the beautiful red haired woman beside
him, whom he'd been secretly loving for so long felt a little uneasy with the
situation.
She wouldn't look in his eyes.
Bradhsaw always felt when Sidney was not comfortable with something.
He thought he had gone to far when he had stroked her hand tenderly that had
been lying next to his knee on the couch. Starting to feel mad at himself to let
him do that he sat up strait and told her
"It's pretty late. I better get going." Was it. his imagination or had her eyes filled disappointment for a second?
Bradshaw you really need to go if you start to hallucinate like that.
She's probably happy that she gets rid of her friend, after all those hours' he
thought to himself.
She showed him to the door and while they waited for the elevator. He carefully
pulled her into his embrace and kissed her softly, it was only for a moment but it seemed to last a lifetime.
The kiss ended and all they could do was stare, Bradshaw was lost in Sidney blue eyes
It was barely a whisper and at first he wasn't sure if he
really had heard the words. But then she backed away from him. Only a few inches
so he could see her face and she said it again "Please, don't go". And then she
did something he wouldn't have imagined in his wildest dreams .... Well, maybe
he had dreamed about it a few times but it still surprised him.
Her hand that had been resting on his back while they kissed slowly wandered
to his neck. Carefully she pulled him a little closer toward her face and for the second time their lips met.
He thought the room was spinning when he felt her lips on his.
He closed his eyes and gave in to the feeling of complete happiness. After a
while they broke their kiss and when their eyes met again they knew they had
wasted enough time with being afraid.
