Just a little after Halloween, everything was normal in the house hold of the Dursleys. Well, there was a child with the last name of Potter, but to them, he didn't exist.

Currently in his cupboard, babbling unclear things away. He was cheerful for some reason. His dreadful cupboard was full of spiders, his diaper hadn't been changed, he was thirst and hungry, but he was still in a good mood.

Clear unusual green eyes blinked when foot steps was heard, and stopped outside his cupboard door. It opened, creaking as it did, and a horse like face appeared, frowning with heavy distaste.

She picked him up with no gentleness his daddy and mommy had. She walked over to the clean kitchen, never before he came here he had seen such a clean kitchen, and roughly sat him down in the corner where it was dark.

He watched as she ruffled through a few stuff, looking for something. He shifted, his Diaper was starting to dampen his mood. He still continued to babble though.

"Why don't you be quiet?" She snapped at him, expecting him to be able to understand her. He just looked at her, gave her a smile unknown to him that was like Lily's, and grabbed a piece of straw that fell of a broom. Petunia stared at him with narrowed eyes, wondering how this child could so cheerful. He lived in a Broom Cupboard for Peet's sakes! He hardly got the amount of food he needed to grow up strong and healthy, and didn't get his diaper changed often.

She sighed, and walked over to him with a pair of Diapers. Baby Harry clapped his hands once, and gurgled. Petunia didn't understand why he didn't speak normal words, she knew he could speak them, but he seemed content to speak complete utter nonsense. She refused to think, that her Dudder's couldn't speak yet though.

She quickly got his sodden diaper, and placed the fresh one under his bottom. She was just about to latch the two sides togther, when Harry looked at her with those adorable eyes and put the piece of tan straw in his mouth. She was suddenly thought that he looked like a baby rancher. He looked so cute though.

She glanced at his dirty privates, and sighs. She walks over to the baby bag again, and gets out some wipes. Then she walked over to Harry again, couldn't believe she fell for those eyes that reminded her of Lily. Her dead sister, who remained in that foolish world that had got her killed.

She quickly wiped him, and latched the two sides of the diaper together. She sat him up, and watched him for a few minutes. She reached across, and took the piece of straw out of this mouth. He gave a sound of protest, but then dragged his attention to his belly button. He started messing with it, it was a cute habit he had.

She continued watching him, unconsciously stroking his hair. Harry was looking at her with those eyes, and she sighed. Why couldn't her son act as adorable as this, look as adorable. She shoook her head quickly, getting rid of those thoughts. Her Dudder's was handsome already like his daddy, and Harry didn't even compare to him.

But those eyes...

She let herself admit that his eyes were better than her Duddykins. They held a precious link to her dead sister, Dudder's had his daddy's eyes. Blue eyes, that held no special color.

"Unt!" Harry screamed joyfully. Petunia dropped her hand in shock. "Unt! Unt!" He repeated, proud of himself.

He looked at her, grinning. "Unt!" He pointed at her. "Unt!"

She slowly nodded, and picked him up. "Yes, boy. I am 'unt'." She sat him in Dudder's high chair, he could stay their until Dudder's woke up from his nap. It couldn't hurt.
