Puke

Puke!

As they continued to ride along in the car, everything was going okay. Boston by Augustana was playing on the radio and to her surprise they were actually carrying on a conversation. This surprised Olivia because she was afraid that they might run out of things to say, but Caleb kept talking and smiling and for once Olivia thought things were actually going well. Then she heard a noise coming from Caleb's pocket. It was saying "parent alert, parent alert."

It was Caleb's phone, and his dad was calling. Then her mom's phone rang, and her mother quickly started a conversation. Olivia just sat there listening it was quite amusing actually.

"Yeah dad, were on the interstate" she heard Caleb say, and as for her mom well she just kept on talking. As Olivia sat there though something started to feel wrong. Her head started to spin. And then she looked up and her stomach started to turn. And slowly something started to come up, something called lunch. As it entered her throat she quickly swallowed it right as Caleb and her mom were both getting of the phone. All she could manage to say was

"Mom, I'm …… car sick."

"Oh my" her mom said, "let me find some where to pull over"

As she said this that wonderful thing called lunch started to come back up. Her mom was franticly rolling down windows and turning up the air saying things like take deep breaths and just breath. It wasn't helping. Then her mom threw a box of Kleenex at her.

"You can throw up in my hat" she heard Caleb say. When she turned to look at him he had taken of his hat, yes his favorite hat, and was offering it for her to throw up in.

"That's really sweet", she said, "but I can't puke in your hat."

As she said this, the lunch came back up and this time to much of it to swallow it back down. Olivia kept holding it in her mouth with her lips closed as tight as she could. She was franticly trying to rip the tissues out of the Kleenex box and Caleb was trying his best to help her. Then her mom finally found a place to pull over but she didn't unlock the door and Olivia couldn't hold it in much longer it was coming out, and it was coming out fast.

"Is she throwing up?" her mom asked Caleb.

"No, but you have the door locked and she can't get out", he replied.

She quickly unlocked the door, and Olivia threw it open and ran out. She barely made it to the grass in time, and then out it all came.

"Well" Olivia thought to her self, "that is officially the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me."
