"Daddy, I got a date tonight," five year old Frank Poncherello said happily.

"You do? That is great," Alfred replied. Ponch just smiled at his daddy. Then went to his room, to get ready.

"Maria, who is Frank going out with tonight?" Alfred asked.

"You'll see," Maria replied.

Meanwhile…

Ponch was ready to go.

"Where can a five year old go on a date? He doesn't have money to buy anything for his date," said Robert Poncherello Ponch's older brother. No one replied.

"I'll be out in the car mommy," Ponch said excitedly.

"Where is he going?" Alfred asked again.

"He is going out for ice cream with me," Maria replied.

"Aww, that is adorable," Patti Ponch's older sister said with a smile.

Meanwhile….

Ponch finished his ice cream, and hugged his mom. "I love you mommy thank you so much," he said sweetly. Then kissed her on the cheek. Maria smiled.

"I love you too, Francis. This was fun," she said.

Meanwhile….

Ponch and Maria got home later after they finished their ice cream.

"Did you have fun?" Alfred asked.

"Yep, it was the best date ever!" Ponch said happily. He had no idea what a date meant. He thought it meant you go out with your mom for ice cream. Alfred smiled.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," he said. Ponch smiled and hugged his mommy again.

"Good night mommy, I loved this date," Ponch said.
