welcome home
my name is Conner Sumners. I was born in a rich family, my father owned a company called ION industries. My mother worked as a doctor saving lives. I was the middle child, younger brother to my older brother John Sumners and elder brother to my younger sister Sarah Sumners. I was in my freshmen year of high school when it happened. I was kidnapped and taken to a desolate area, far from modern society and beaten, tortured beyond what a normal person can take. for five years that was what I endured. until I escaped and now I am on a hunt for those who could have been involved with my kidnapping, but to do that I need to be something else.
...
"police have found Conner sumners, sun of the CEO of ION industries a few days ago" said a reporter on TV "they have brought him to Neon General hospital for a medical examination, and have called his family"
the TV turned off and a nineteen year old boy dropped the remote onto the hospital bed. He walked over to a window and looked out of it. He brushed a hand over the multiple scars on his upper body.

"the x-rays show that there are multiple wrongly healed bones" said the doctor as Dr. Sumners looked at them "a lot of scar tissue, and healed lacerations over his body, whatever happened to your son, he is lucky to be alive, but even though your son is here ma'am, he won't be the same"
Sarah Sumners nodded her head. She looked into the room.
"I am just glad he is home"
Sarah walked to the door and opened it, walking in she saw her son. She put her hand to her mouth as she saw him turning around.
/a few hours later/
"wow this place hasn't changed a bit" said Conner as he walked into the mansion
"you should see the back yard Conner" said John as he carried in a large box "by the way what is in this thing, I mean its not like you could have gone to a gift shop and grabbed some stuff"
Conner looked at john and grabbed the box. John rubbed the back of his head na dsmiled sheepishly.
"didn't mean it like that" said John "I was only joking, what ever is in there helped bring you home and I am glad for that"
"thanks" said Conner "now what's in the back yard?"
John chuckled and led the way to the back of the house leading to the back yard. He opened the sliding doors revealing a patio, with a large inground pool.
"this is what's in the back yard" he said "and mom had it built the day...well when they told her you were probably dead, she always knew you wanted a pool, so she had one built-"and I swam in it daily" finished Sarah "but now you can too since your home"
Sarah stood in the doorway, next to her was a young teen girl of around sixteen. she smiled at conner.
"ok what else have I missed" said Coner shocked "like since when did my baby sister get all grown up"
"said baby sister has grown up since you were gone archer" said Sarah (the sister) using her old nickname for Conner
Sarah ran over and hugged her older brother. Conner wrapped his arms around her and and hugged her.
"I am glad your back" she said "I really hope the police find out who took you for all these years"
Conner's face darkened. He looked down at his sister.
"I hope they do as well" he said
/later that night/
the cops weren't going to be able to find out who did this. only because I have a view leads. while on my way back to Neon City I compiled a list of a few dozen people who could have wanted me kidnapped to get to my family. many of them were known businessmen that my father worked with, others were people who have had loved ones die at the hospital my mother works at. I will find out who did this and why, and after they tell me I will kill him.
