He sat and sang away

Of the moon and golden sun,

Watching the stars play

When the day was done

I sat and prayed away

Watching a fallen angel cry

Silently on that tragic day

As sweet hope began to die

I prayed for lost memory

He sang for dreams so fair

My prayers were caught by the sea

His songs died in the air
