Just a little thought when I was extremely bored on the computer. It's kind of a peace offering to those who are mad at me for not updating Spy Ride. I'm so sorry. Enjoy and laugh it up a little. Review if you have time.
"Max?" It was Fang.
"Yeah?"
"Come here, please." I looked up from the fire, glancing at the sleeping flock. No one stirred.
Fang stood in the dark night, starlight reflecting from his shiny blue-black hair, hands clasped behind his back. I disengaged myself from the bird-kids and tiptoed outside. It was chilly, I realized, and shivered slightly.
I silently ran over to Fang's lean figure and wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my head into the back of Fang's leather jacket. It emanated his incredibly warm body heat.
"Whoa, Max, clingy much?" Fang teased, twisting around and scooping me up in his strong arms. With a whooshhhhh he freed his huge wings and soared out of the canyon's ledge, and into the valley. We landed with a barely audible thump.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked as Fang folded up his wings and shifted my weight in his arms. I tried to wiggle myself free but Fang tsk-tsked me.
"You're mine, Maximum," he growled playfully, and with a broad flourish, sat down hard, quickly rearranging me in his warm lap. He laughed breathlessly. My eyes widened, and I clasped his shoulders in mild panic. "I won't drop you, I promise. I would cushion your fall if I did." Fang whispered in my ear, gently, and completely un-Fang-like manner. I smiled at Fang's romantic endeavors.
" I know, I know very well." I whispered, mesmerized in his deep, bottomless, black eyes. He smiled wickedly, suddenly, and closed the minute gap between us, breathed deeply, and touched his lips to mine, ever so softly.
I kissed him back with all the passion I could, arching my back to crush my lips to his. We continued until we were breathless. We parted, dramatically, and Fang tucked me closely into the crook of his arms, tightly and sighed deeply. "I wish I could hold you like this forever. I would never leave."
It was my turn to sigh. "I wish we could stay."
"But we can," whispered Fang, intent, and pulled me even closer, his powerful, wiry arms around my waist, his broad, muscular chest pressed flush to my back.
"No, don't forget the flo-"
"Max! Where are you? MAX!" rang Angel's frightened voice throughout the canyon. She leaned over the ledge, precariously, cupping her hands around her mouth, taking a breath, about to yell again…
"Angel, we're down here," said Fang's slightly irritated voice. She looked down, relieved, then say us embraced together, and blushed furiously. She put her hands over her mouth, embarrassed beyond belief, and fled.
We couldn't stop laughing for a full 10 minutes.
I hope you like it! Review if you liked it. If you didn't review. If you don't care, review anyway. Hugs and Tickles,
