The Awed Father

AN: This has no plot or anything but it's pretty funny.
One night Naruto found his husband standing over their baby's crib. Silently he watched the lazy ninja. As he stood looking down at the sleeping infant, the demon carrier saw on his lover's face a mixture of emotions: disbelief, doubt, delight, amazement, enchantment, mystification. Touched by this unusual display and the deep emotions it aroused, with eyes glistening the sky blue eyes man slipped his arms around his husband.
"A penny for your thoughts?" Naruto asked Shikamaru.
"It's amazing," he replied going back to his lazy tone, "I just can't see how anybody can make a crib like that four only 46,000 yen."
Naruto stood stunned to the floor still embracing his lazy lover. He couldn't believe Shikamaru would say that at a time like this. Then his stunned silence turned to anger. With a silent tug of saying fallow him or suffer the consequences the pineapple haired man complied unwillingly. Once they entered there bedroom Naruto whet off like an explosive tag.
"You were thinking about the crib all long in there?! And I thought you would actually change after all these years! You're such a jerk! I have no clue why I married you now!" the spiky blonde man ranted.
"Tch. Troublesome," the lazy man muttered. 'It wasn't that much of a big deal. He's acting like a woman.'
That's when their phone started ringing but Naruto ignored it because he was to busy chewing out his husband and Shikamaru didn't answer it because he just was to damn lazy. So the answering machine picked it up with the lazy ninja's voice on it.
My husband and I can't come to the phone right now, but if you'll leave your name and number, we'll get back to you just as soon as we're finished (Beep)
Uhhh . . . . . . . . . . . . umm . . . this is Kiba and just wanted to tell you that Shikamaru's mission was canceled . . . . . . . . well bye. . .
After the line went dead both men stood there in silence. Naruto was beet red when he heard their answering machine.
"I should have never let you be the one to set that up," the blonde coked out.
That's when the baby woke up so the blue eyed man just hurried out of the room in embarrassment. That left Shikamaru alone in their room. At first he didn't show any outer emotion then his face broke out in a smirk.
"I guess it wasn't too troublesome after all."
