The Frustrations of Shudder Delay:

Picture One: Why Tezuka is his Favorite Model

Fuji Syuusuke was a dangerous man without his camera. With his camera, he was Seigaku enemy number one.

It had started out as normal as an day and it would have ended as a normal day if Fuji hadn't brought his camera and enough to film to take at least one picture of every student that attended Seigaku at least twice. It was nice day as well. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and every time the wind blew, soft pink petals would sweep across the campus. School was out and tennis practice had ended.

"Fuji, aren't you going home?" asked Kawamura Takashi when he noticed his friend wasn't by his side.

"I'll catch up," said Fuji smiling. "I want to take one more picture before the day ends."

Kawamura nodded and made his way away from the clubroom. Fuji waited until he was sure everyone else had gone home. Fuji went over to the walkway lined with cherry blossoms. He was sure that he had seen it. The perfect shot of Tezuka Kunimitsu. Fuji crept over to a patch of trees and his smile broadened.

Tezuka was laying down in the grass with his team jacket folded up under his head. Tiny pink petals were scattered across his body and on the ground around him. Next to him his tennis bag lay, the zipper slightly open.

Fuji smiled and raised his camera, taking just one picture, not wanting to push his luck. Tezuka must have been exhausted. Fuji lowered his camera and went over to his sleeping captain.

"You'll catch a cold if you sleep out here," said Fuji quietly.

Tezuka opened his eyes sleepily.

"What have I told about taking pictures of me when I'm sleeping?" said Tezuka, yawning.

Picture Two: Why Kaidoh likes to Train Alone

Fuji wasn't necessarily used to walking alone. He usually had someone at his side, but everyone seemed to be busy. Around his neck was his camera. His fingers twitched towards it until his fingers were brushing against the shudder button. Fuji sighed.

"I need inspiration," muttered Fuji.

Fuji looked up and notice he was near the river where Kaidoh Kaoru came to train. He glanced around in search of the second year, but he was nowhere to be found. Fuji sighed again and went down to sit on the grass. It was a warm and sunny and bright. Fuji smiled softly, stretched out on the grass, and decided to watch the clouds.

"Be quiet now," said a quiet, familiar voice. "I brought you plenty of food today."

Fuji sat up and looked around. Something under the bridge caught his eye. It was slight movement, but he was sure he had seen it. Fuji got up and crept quietly over to the bridge and peeked underneath.

Kaidoh was knelling down next to a box holding out a hand full of food. Fuji edge nearer and raised his camera and snapped two pictures. Kaidoh jumped and whipped around, but by this time, Fuji was long gone, eager to develop his new picture.

This was just a random idea that popped into my head. I know one of Fuji's hobbies is photography so I thought i'd do something that had to do with his camera. In the beginning I was going to make it a very sadistic theme, but in the end, I decided that it would be better if I made it something sweet.

The next chapter will have Oishi and Eiji. Feel free to give me themes for pictures. Just add them in the reviews.
