I hate starting stories and never finishing them. But whatever. Have fun guys!

"When we were in school together, Wally was an ass." Anya ripped open the extra spicy hot sauce packet with her teeth.

"What do you mean?" Bart cocked a brow.

Anya drenched her soft taco in the sauce. "We were close in Middle School. Like, I know your secret identity close."

"But what happened?" Bart leaned forward.

"High School happened." Anya tipped her head to the side. "It's pretty easy to lose your soul once you go there." She took a bite, chewed for a couple of minutes, then swallowed and continued. "Wally started hanging around the cool kids. And I was labeled the freaky Goth girl with my shaved head and piercings." Anya pointed to the left bald side of her head and Monroe and eyebrow piercing. "I didn't know that, of course, and I was thinking that sitting with Wally and the cool kids was no big deal, you know? Until, well…"

"Anya, I need to talk to you." Wally stood up and hauled Anya off to the side with a frown plastered on his face.

"What's up?" She smiled with absolutely no clue of what was going to happen next.

"You can't sit with mewith us." Wally didn't look her in the eyes.

"Pfft. Why not? We used to sit together all the time in Middle School."

"This is different." Wally raised his hand. "I can't let you sit with me anymore. Find somewhere else to sit with."

The popular kids all stared with anticipation at the two.

"Why?" Anya lowered her brows and opposite direction.

"Because, Anya…" He did look her in the eye this time. "You look like a freak."

Bart nodded. "I believe it."

"Yeah. He didn't ever bother to apologize. Or even talk to me the rest of the year." Anya sneered. "But hey, like it said, High School's hell, you either turn into a dick or you come out a better person."

"Did you ever pass high school?" Bart glanced up at her.

Anya shook her head. "Nah, I died before I did." She lifted up her legs. Small strips of smoke fluttered off into the wind. "Can't you see?"

"Oh, yeah. How did Wally feel?" He reached over to grab Anya's taco.

She slapped his hand away. "Pissed. He thought I committed suicide."

"How?"

"I was found hung on the ceiling fan." She pointed up into the air. "They didn't even check for murder."

"That's awful. Do you know who did it?" Bart leered.

Anya glanced up. "I can't really remember. All I know is that she had long red hair."

"Have you seen Wally?"

"Nope."

"Why not?"

"What for?"

"Because he needs to know you were murdered. What if he can solve your murder!?"

"No thanks." Anya held up a hand. "Besides, I like walking the earth. I get to meet different people. I already met two superheroes that deal with this kind of thing."

"Who?"

"Deadman…Kid Eternity." Anya glanced up. "I think that's their names." She handed Bart the taco then stood up. "Thanks for the taco, kid. I'm pretty happy that I can actually eat now. But, I gotta fly."

"Are you gonna come back?" Bart stared up at her.

She smiled. "Why? You want me to?"

"Sorta." Bart smiled.

"Then, maybe." She winked. Before Bart knew it. She blew away into the wind like sand.
