The Foster Kids Insecurities

Regina sat in the waiting room waiting for news on Emma, it was stressing her out more than she thought it would. She was coming more for support but she ended up really worrying about the irritating blonde. Captain guyliner showed up late and she couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Get caught up sharpening your hook?" she asked annoyed.

"Caught in traffic" he responded bitterly. His 'girl' is in the hospital after passing out and needed an emergency mastectomy and he is late. Snow looked down right pissed that her ex enemy who didn't have to show up dropped everything to be here for her but her boyfriend is almost 3 hours late.

"Leave" she said shocking everyone.

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"You were 3 hours late, if you cared for her you would have been here on time" she said and Regina had to admit she was impressed by Snow telling her off. It's amazing that little girl afraid to upset people can now yell at him. Well damn, she thought, haven't thought about her like that in a while.

"I'm not leaving! " he shouted.

"Yes you are you are drunk and Emma is not waking up to you being drunk" I yelled.

"Why are you even here?" he asked and I didn't know what to say without yelling at him.
"She dropped everything to come here to support Emma" Snow said. Hook sighed but left.

After Emma woke up and Snow and David left they left Regina go see her, She's been warned that Emma's high.

"Hey" Regina's said.

"Hey" Emma said laughing.
"Guess what?" she asked trying to whisper but broke down in giggles.

"What?"

"I'm really high" she said giggling. "Don't tell my parent's… Snow and… my mom is Snow White who would have guessed that"

"My mom is Snow White!" she laughed, "Who would have thought I have parents that don't want to abandoned me"

The tone shifted to her crying. Regina didn't know what to do she wasn't used to having a friend crying like this.

"Oh no hey remember you are secretly high" Regina said desperately hoping that she could get the blonde happy again.

"I don't have boobs, they gone… i'm ugly no… no one is going to love me"Emma said breaking down completely.

"Hey that's not true. You will never be ugly, David will still have to beat Captain Guyliner hook off of you" Regina said and at the mention of his name she silently cursed herself because the blonde looked down sad.

"He doesn't love me. He's not here because i'm ugly" Emma said being way to harsh on herself and Regina has never seen this fragile foster kid afraid of being abandoned side of her. The side of Emma that was just so terrified of not being good enough for people that she tried so hard to bury.

"That's not true if he doesn't want you that's his problem and loss not yours, you are beautiful. Trust me the whole town loves you, Henry, your parent's… me" Regina admitted. The blonde looked at her shocked.

"Now come you need your beauty rest if you are going to show Captain one hand what he lost out on" Regina said before leaving the room and that was all that was said.
