Pearlnet human au
Pearl walked into her apartment and groaned. She quickly made her way to the bathroom to check her temperature although she already knew she was sick.
As the sound went off she looked down and it read 102.5.
"Great a fever… and me and Garnet are going to have a date tonight to." She frowned and headed for the phone to call her.
It's rang three times before Garnet picked up
"Hey there pearl exited for our date tonight?" Garnet said smiling
" Garnet I have to take a rain check I'm really sorry, you see I got sick and have a fever so I don't thin-"
"Stop right there I understand" she hung up immediately.
'Oh no' pearl thought putting down the phone ' I must have upset her I know she really wanted to see that new dog copter movie with me..' pearl slumped onto the couch with a soft blanket around her and feel asleep.
The next thing pearl knew was that she was on the floor and awake because of someone knocking on the door.
"Who is it" pearl asked followed by a few coughs.
"Its me" garnet replied with a sweet tone.
Confused pearl opened the door to Garnet carrying three plastic baggies with movies pillows and popcorn and a variety of candies. "I know your sick I'm here to take care of you now, and don't start about worrying if I get sick I wont." Garnet smiled and kissed pearl on her forehead.
"You shouldn't have" pearl said sniffling.
" I wanted to" garnet replied setting her stuff down " I brought movies and chocolate and extra blankets. Maybe we can shut off the light and put on a few candles and make a great date."
"sounds like a plan."
About half way into the movie garnet scooted closer to pearl and wrapped her arm around her.
" Garnet I don't want you getting sick"
"I wont get sick. Even if it did it wouldn't matter because." There was a long pause and pearl looked into garnets eyes.
"Because?"
"I love you pearl."
With that being said pearl blushed and hid her face into her hand
"I love you too silly."
Pearl kissed garnet on the cheek and smiled.
" You missed"
"What?" pearl asked.
Garnet kissed pearl on the lips which was a sweet and tender kiss until pearl broke away.
"Garnet you will get sick." She pouted
" I wont I promise."
The night was filled with many more kisses until the two fell asleep on the couch.
The following morning Garnet woke up with a stuffy nose and a horrible headache. She smiles. " Hey pearl?"
Pearl groaned and answered "Yes?"
" I think I'm sick"
