Danny was sitting at his desk finishing paperwork. They had just finished a case and almost everybody has gone home except him and Lori.
How is Anna? I haven't talked to her in a week and last time I heard Dad got out three weeks ago. Has he got her? Is DiNozzo thinking straight? Maybe…. Should I call her?
He decides he needs to call her. He dialed her number and it went straight to voicemail.
"Hey Anna. Just calling to see if you're okay. I've been thinking about you guys a lot. Just call me when you get this. Bye."
"Hey Danny.", Lori says in the doorway.
"Oh, hey Lori. I didn't see you there. What's going on?"
"I should be asking you that. Everything okay?"
"Yeah, everything's fine. Why do you ask?"
"You just seemed worried about something. Who's Anna?"
"Just someone from my past. Been thinking about her lately, and thought I'd call to see how she is."
"Oh. Well, I'm going to home, you should probably do the same."
"Okay. Goodnight Lori"
"Goodnight Danno."
And with that, the left HQ and to their separate cars, thinking of how strange he acted and the myterious Anna.

Danny couldn't sleep that night. He couldn't stop thinking about Anna. He also couldn't stop thinking about the conversation with Lori earlier that evening. When he got the call, he knew he had to tell someone about his horrible history, and soon.
