Me: Well… this is probably gonna be shorter than the first one… you know... school and all… *yawn* I'm doing this in the middle of the night…

------Chapter 2 (The priest's revenge) ------

Yugi was writhing in his bed. He was having a bad dream.

Atemu and Yugi had just gotten to Egypt. Atemu grunted as he pulled out the suitcases. Yugi was looking out for his grandpa. Suddenly, everything was gone. Only a pair of deep brown eyes lingered, watching Yugi's every move. Suddenly, a hand made up of darkness reached out towards Yugi and grabbed him, squeezing him so tightly that he could not breathe, let alone move.

Yugi screamed. Atemu was jerked out of his sleep by Yugi's agonized scream. He swiftly ran to Yugi's room and opened the door. What he saw horrified him. Yugi was sweating all over and his arms were waving around helplessly as if something was choking him. Without hesitation, Atemu grabbed Yugi's hands, withdrawing another scream from him. Yugi's hands were shaking and he kept on repeating Atemu's name, begging for help. Atemu shook Yugi vigorously.

"Aibou! aibou! What happened? aibou! Please wake up!" Atemu yelled, anxious.

Yugi had stopped waving his arms about the moment Atemu had shook him. He slowly opened his eyes. He smiled slightly at Atemu.

"I-it's n-nothing A-Atemu-kun…" Yugi managed to say. He was feeling horrible. His whole body felt as though something was beating him repeatedly. His head felt as though it was being used for endless drum practises.

Atemu's eyes filled with tears and hugged Yugi. They stayed like that for five minutes, Atemu not letting go even once. Yugi thought that Atemu was being a little- fine… very overprotective but he did not mind. He liked the closeness between them. He had found out long ago that his feelings for Atemu were more than just partner bonds. Yugi loved Atemu. He never wanted to let go, but, it was time. They parted hesitantly, though not showing it to each other. Atemu gave a little smile and left the room to get ready for the trip to Egypt.

Yugi gazed at Atemu until he could not see him anymore. He tried to get up but his legs would not work. He started to panic. Suddenly, he heard a voice.

"Yugi, you will never get out of this. You stole him from me. I will never forget that. You will never get out of this." The voice spoke then left.

Yugi's legs were suddenly able to work again. He looked around wildly, not seeing anybody. He got up but he was barely able to stand. He collapsed into a heap on the floor and suddenly felt very giddy. He hoisted himself of the floor and managed to stagger into the bathroom. There, he started coughing out blood. He was horrified and was at a loss of what to do. Before he could think of anything, he fainted.

Yugi woke up to the sound of soft but furious voices. He smelled disinfectant. What he was not expecting to see, however, was that he was in a hospital bed and Atemu was arguing with a doctor.

"What do you mean you don't know? You can't even find out what's wrong with him?! I mean, he coughed up blood for heaven's sake!" Atemu was whispering furiously.

The doctor shook his head but his reply was lost as Atemu had seen Yugi stir.

"Yugi! How are you feeling?" Atemu questioned as he ran to Yugi's side.

Yugi only smiled and looked questioningly at Atemu to ask what had happened. His mouth did not seem to want to work at that moment. Atemu just shook his head in reply and said that he would tell Yugi later.
