My first poem. I wrote this when I was twelve so it's not that good. Anyway, until now, the poems I have here aren't that even better than this one. But aside from prose, of course I also want to be skilled in writing poetry. I do accept criticisms for that betterment. Thank you! I'll let you first read the poem then later on I'll reveal what I was meaning to convey.

And it's a lyric poem so I was not that strict in the number of syllables or rhythmic pattern? J

Still not done with my latest story, Thief of Heart- sorry for not really finishing quickly what I started but I will someday soon. I just have to refresh some details to make it more realistic.

Disclaimer: I do not own Kobato ( how I wish but never, ouch!)

" My heart is secured, it won't be harmed"

Fall had gone and winter had come

The coldness it brings makes me numb

Still its blanket f white crystal ice

Makes me reminisce the past right before my eyes.

Another day ended with a smile

As I sat down and think for a while

My hardships have reached a thousand miles

The tears failed to fall on these glassy tiles.

Going down the over steep stairs

In a second, gave me a nightmare

My eyes couldn't help but stare

To someone who never really cares.

Walking past by, ignoring him

Giving in, I was really in the brim

Wanting to wake up from that dream

Almost killing me it seemed.

I wondered why the wind makes trees sway

Just like he who made me feel this way

I wondered why clouds are with the sky

Just like without him I couldn't fly.

The next sunrise I had witnessed,

One thing in my life I could never guess

Seeing the sun set in the west,

Pretending my life's not on mess.

The hope inside of me rekindled

Bouquet of flowers in my arms I bundled

In a minute, they were shattered on the floor

Darkness and coldness enveloped my core.

One day I found myself crying

The words in my ears kept on ringing

Words expressing love for her he sings

I discovered, for her, he'll do everything.

Winter had gone and spring had come

Fragrance of flowers makes me feel calm

My heart is secured, it won't be harmed

For someone's willing to welcome it with warmth.

So, I think it's obvious that Kobato is in love with Fujimoto but he has his eyes on Sayaka. She held her hopes high but failed to see them crumble down. And now she's willing to let go and dream once more.

Thanks for reading. Review please! Thank you!
