Summary: A series of drabbles where the DragonBallZ characters notice their differences between each other... random pairings included.
Differences
Chapter 1: Bulma and Chichi
They met when they were younger. Chichi instantly fell in love with the boy travelling with Bulma and Bulma felt like a mother caring for that said boy, Goku.
Chichi felt threatened by any other female going near her man. The black haired girl didn't want anyone thinking they could make advantages on something that wasn't theirs. Bulma didn't. The blue haired genuis would rather have proof of cheating rather than knock another girl on the ground.
Chichi was a somewhat over protective mother. She was fearful that her sons would die like their father, so she tried to keep them as near to her as possible. Bulma was not like that. She realized that she may lose her sons and husband one day, but knew that they would one day lose her too. For this she had nothing to fear. Bulma believed that all of them would be together again in the afterlife.
Bulma loved discovering the unknown. There was an adventure around every corner, but for Chichi change and discovery were very scary things. Whenever something changed for her it was usually the worst thing possible.
The two women were asked once why they were so close when they were so different. It was an easy thing to discover what they had in common. Bulma and Chichi were loyal, loved their family, and were the only ones who could keep the men they knew in line. It wasn't so bad having a thing or two in common, but both women appreciated each other far more for their differences. What they wanted to be more like.
"Oh, great! They're off again!" Chichi sighed as the males flew off.
Bulma smiled at her, "Yeah, but we'll always be here for when they get back."
Notes:
Yeah this went very different than what I wanted but hopefully the others won't be as bad.
