Author's note: I wanted to write a one-shot story because I have a lot of ideas for chapter stories which I find difficult to finish and therefore dare not post them. I have already posted two and have yet to continue them so between trying to decide whether I should do a kakashiiruka or genmahayate, this idea popped out of nowhere.

Shino to Kiba is like a flea to a dog, Kiba decided.

Irritating and silent.

A mosquito can bring down a lion so of course a flea could easily bring down a dog but a dog cannot bring down a flea unless it has it in its paws, which is oh so very difficult. Thinking about this, Kiba feels irritation but he would never intentionally hurt this particular flea even if it is within his paws because Kiba loves it.

For some strange and totally bizarre reason, Kiba loves this particular flea.

Shino is a dedicated person. Silent yet not cold. That is why he always seems not to consider about anyone……he is dedicated to his bugs.

Still Shino notices Kiba enough to give him companionship and the feelings of being happy and contented. Let us not forget about the kisses, bites and many other pleasures.

Shino never underestimate Kiba because fleas know they can get hurt by their host dog if they are not careful. In the dog's fur is their home. In Kiba's heart is a home for Shino. Kiba's heart fills with warmth as he realizes this.

What he does not understand is why Shino likes to bite him during their (ahem) activities. Sure Kiba loves to bite because dogs are like that but even though Shino is a bug, he is not a flea that needs blood…...at least Kiba thinks so but he is not that sure now.

With pale complexion and a trembling body, he asks Shino. Shino answers and Kiba flushes with embarrassment from his silly thoughts and because he is unused to such sap.

After all, Shino do think he is Kiba's flea. Fleas love dogs.

Though Shino is not in for blood, love bites.
