Elsa sighed before leaning her head against the study window. She was about to go back to her book when a familiar speck of navy blue came into view. Her expression immediately brightened at the thought of a visit from her best friend. She leapt to her feet, heels clicking on the tiled floor, and opened the large window. In the span of three seconds she was knocked to the ground by a boy donning a blue hoodie, tan pants and a hooked staff.

The boy sat up on Elsa's stomach and they looked at each other for a second before bursting into a fit of giggles. He got up and floated over to sit on the window sill. She got up as well, shoes becoming momentarily tangled in her long dress. Her face split into a grin after standing properly.

"I was wondering where you'd been, Jack." she said. He looked up and smiled. "Oh, I've just been, y'know, around..." His smile widened and Elsa noticed the faintest trace of indigo on his high cheekbones.

She smirked, "I know that look, Anna gives the same one to Kristoff. So, who is it? What's her name?", Jack's deep blue eyes widened, and the indigo darkened to an interesting shade of purple. He chuckled awkwardly and stuttered "W-What do you... Erm.. I-I don- ... Uuuhm..."

His hand reached to tangle itself in silvery strands. The icy queen's smirk deepened. "Man, you have it bad... C'mon, spill! I wanna know everything."

Jack sighed, "Fine, but don't laugh. He's short, he has these am-" "Wait he?" Elsa interrupted, confusion written all over her face. "Yes he, now let me finish. So he's got these gorgeous green eyes that sparkle whenever he's excited or happy, and the most adorable teeth that are all crooked and he bites his lip all the time, and his face is, like, covered in freckles and his hair is a really pretty shade of brown and it's really soft and it kinda sticks out at the edges, and he approaches life with so much enthusiasm and he's so passionate about everything and he's so damn stubborn and I just-" He sighed deeply "You know?"

Elsa had watched the whole thing with a knowing smile. He really likes this kid.

"So, what's his name?" She asked, amusement laced all throughout her voice.

Jack, face now a dark mauve, smiled dreamily.

"Hiccup."
