Hey! I'm Ragnelondite and this is my first fanfic. Constructive Criticism is nice, but no flaming please. I'm starting with A JackxCarly fic to "Don't Wake me" by Skillet. Based on Jack a few days after Carly's death. Music is important to me so songfics should be easy!
Don't Wake Me by Skillet
"Don't wake me, cause I don't wanna leave this dream"
Jack's POV
I looked at the Clock next to my bed. 3:00 AM.
"Why did she have to die?" I thought as I lay awake. "Why couldn't I save her? I became the man she wanted… and then she died…"
"Why?! Why did she have to leave me?!" I shouted to no one in particular. "Why can't I have her back?! I miss her! Alright, I admit I feel something for her!" I started to cry a small bit. Just a few tears, mind you. Jack Atlas doesn't cry. "Just let her come back to me… and I will be whatever she wants… me…. To…. Be…. SEE?! I just swallowed my pride for her!!!" I continued to shout before rolling over and falling asleep after a few minutes.
That night I dreamed of Carly and I as if she was never a Dark Signer. It was the best dream I've ever had. Unfortunately, It started at the point when I asked "What's a Metro Pass?". The dream went on for a whil- Wait. Why am I, Jack Atlas, telling you my dream?! That's it I'm finished with the dream!
To make a long story short, the dream went well, until… I heard that Damn ringtone on my phone that tells me Mina is calling. Why did Yusei program it to play that horrid "Hyperdrive" song?! I picked up the phone and snapped "What is it?! Do not wake me up!"
Mina sounded a bit dejected, said good morning and hung up the phone. I don't care right now. Just let me go back to my dreams.
Alright, I know it sucks but it's my first attempt. Jack is kinda hard to keep IC when it comes to Carly :\ And personally I like Hyperdrive, and Yusei DOES listen to it in the Dub, and I guess the Japanese opening in the Japanese version.
