A Piece of You

Hi guys, my computer has been acting up so I haven't written in a while. Anyway this is a little gaanaru one shot. Hope you enjoy
Naruto was bouncing up and down from excitement.
'Where's Gaara?!' he thought. 'I told him this was important.'
Finally he heard the apartment door unlock and Gaara came in.
"Ok," he said putting some stuff down on a table. "You want to tell me what you were so excited about? Did you finally figure out how to make that 'super ramen' you told me?"
"No this is something bigger than ramen!" Naruto jumped up and down.
"Bigger then ramen? This must be important then." Gaara sat down on the couch. Naruto sat down next to him and pulled down his shirt a little to reveal a tattoo. It was the "love" tattoo that Gaara had on his forehead.
Gaara was speechless. "What the fuck?! Naruto, where did you get this?!"
"There's a new tattoo place that opened downtown," Naruto explained. "I got it yesterday. I wanted to give it some time to heal before I showed it to you. You can touch it if you want, it doesn't hurt."
Gaara slowly reached out a hand and touched the small, red tattoo. It looked exactly like the one on his forehead. He could feel Naruto's heartbeat right underneath the tattoo.
"You like it right?" Naruto asked concerned after a moment of silence.
"It's amazing," Gaara replied. "But why did you get my tattoo?"
Naruto looked down shyly and pulled up his shirt. "I always thought your tattoo was cool. You told me that it meant "love" and I love you… soo… yeah, I thought it would be nice. Plus it's right over my heart too. This way I can always have a piece of you."
Naruto looked up at Gaara and saw that he had tears welling up in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" he asked. 'Crap he doesn't like it.' Naruto thought sadly.
But suddenly, Gaara kissed him.
"What was that for?" Naruto asked blushing.
"It was really sweet what you did," Gaara replied. "I never thought someone could love me and you came along. I love you too Naruto, and now we're connected." He looked at Naruto's tattoo and smiled a little.
"You want to help me make some super ramen?" Naruto smiled widely.
Gaara chuckled softly. "Sure why not?"
Well that's my story. I hope you enjoyed it. I just wanted to write some cute fluff. Plus this is kind of my head canon I thought up after the Kazekage Rescue in "Naruto Shippuden" So, yeah, there's my story. Read & review
