You know that feeling you get when there is nothing to do? Well there is nothing you WANT to do; you have plenty of things you could be doing, just too lazy to write that essay, too annoyed to study for that exam tomorrow, maybe just plain tired of all those boring tasks. You feel like you just want to get up, go out, and do something fun.

My whole life has been that, boring, useless, uninspiring, I could go on if you want but I fear even you would fall asleep…

That is why I will tell you about that one time in my life I was not bored, in fact you could even say I found something I enjoyed. It started off with one normal morning, with a cup of normal coffee, and a day of boring school…

After school Keven always rode the bus home with her sister, Halina, her main goal then was to find a seat near the front that was completely empty, so she could get the seat near the window. Over the years it had become a skill of hers to ward off others who would dare to sit next to her, and it worked most of the time till high school when the bus she rode would get so crowded there was three to a seat in all of the seats. Then was when things would get really sweaty and gross, so she had learned to just squish herself onto the window and take up as little space as she could. It was nice though that her stop was, and always had been, the last. She would not have to jump over the other people sitting in the same seat just to get off at her stop, and when her stop finally came the bus had already emptied its self of all the extra high-schoolers and would become reasonably empty. Then she would get off and go home.

She would always walk home from the bus stop and contemplate the boring day's happenings, and would imagine amusing bits in between all the boringness of school. She would also stop by and pet this small grey-brown cat that was always chilling in one of her neighbor's driveway. She would visit this cat every day coming home from school and it became a part of her normal day, in the fall and winter the cat would come running to her when she came around the corner but in the spring and summer the cat would just lay there unresponsive to the girl's calls. Keven also noticed that when it would rain the cat would be nowhere on sight. Most cats hate the rain so that did not seem too crazy at first, then one day she could not find the cat anywhere, hidden like when it rained, but it did not rain and had not for some time. She thought nothing of it at the time, most would have not even noticed, but that night it rained suddenly and randomly. Most still would not have noticed that just this one time the cat disappeared before the rain came, but when this rain came it came and did not stop.

A/N: So this is my fist fanfiction and I would really appreciate motivational comments, and constructive criticism. Also I know that I am cheesy so sorry but you will have to deal with it later on, if I am motivated to continue. My summer is starting soon so I should have time to write if I feel like it. You all will just have to bear (or bare) with me! ;) (if you would like to bare with me then let us go strip now!) Cheesyness aside for a bit, thank you and review!
