What Did She Say?
I do NOT own Harry Potter...
Harry was walking through the corridors of the huge school known as Hogwarts when he saw a curious sight upon reaching the Great Hall.
"…really, I doubt it would be true!"
"…but it isn't! It's all factual!"
Harry inched closer towards the door and used his invisibility cloak to see what was happening.
"…but that would never happen! Not in a million years!"
What will never happen? Harry thought, Voldemort is already dead and nothing evil has come upon us so far…
"…Well that's that…at least we have some blackmail to use on McGonagall when we tell her we forgot to do our homework…"
After that, the group of first-years separated and moved off to their classes. Harry now knew that this had something to do with McGonagall so he asked Ginny, who just had her Transfiguration class.
"Um…Ginny," he said, "Do you know anything about Professor McGonagall?"
"Well, of course, silly! She's our Transfiguration professor!" Ginny replied, thoroughly confused. Harry realised his mistake.
"Oh, what I meant was that I heard some first years talking about McGonagall and I think there is some sort of secret she's hiding because they said that they had some blackmail," Harry added.
"I don't really know; maybe ask Luna, she might know…" she said then walked off to her next class.
Harry went off in search of Luna Lovegood and found her after a while.
"Hey Luna," he shouted down the hallway as he jogged up to her.
"Oh, it's you, Harry…" replied the serene Ravenclaw "Is there anything you need?"
"Yes, I think there is some gossip going around about McGonagall," Harry said, finally catching up.
"I never knew you were into gossip, Harry," she commented, "I never knew there was any gossip about McGonagall…maybe you should try the Snarlighoff ears; they might help find the gossip."
Harry politely declined the ears and asked random people around Hogwarts for the entire day. Some people just giggled at him or waved his question off.
Finally, at the very end of the day, when it was his Transfiguration class, McGonagall appeared a few minutes after the supposed class starting time and had a grin on her face. (if that was possible)
"Everyone, I know there has been some gossip going around the school. Would anyone care to tell me what it was?" asked McGonagall.
No one answered.
"I found out after overhearing some first years talking, and I believe that you, Mr Potter, was the one who started to reveal that I had a secret," McGonagall paused. No one spoke for thirty silent seconds.
"All I have to say is that their gossip is fact," she stated. Everyone's eyes, including Harry's, went wide.
"I am dating Professor Dumbledore,"
That was all she said and left the room.
One question rang through everyone's shocked heads.
What did she say?
A/N: Major randomness, I came up with this randomly, and I thought, 'Why not?' and here it is...
