"I know He's dead but don't you feel like we are the ones that lost the war?" He looks up questionably. So she continued on.
"I mean it seems half our population has been wiped out, the rebuilding even with the strongest spells will take quite awhile. I wish the war had never taken place, sure He might have been in charge but at least they'd still be here!" She started to cry at that point, as he thought for a way to comfort her knowing there was no cure to the pain.
"Molly I know it's difficult, I grieve for them too. War is tragic thing everyone says that, even the muggles. But think of the future generations that will grow in a world without Voldemort and his ways. All of this was for James, Celestria, and the countless others." She thought of what he was telling her and did know he was right.
"I just miss them. I suppose its comes with the territory of being a mother. I have dealt with a lot. Broken hearts, bad grades, lies. Plus all the good things watching them grow, discover the world. There is nothing that prepares a mother to bury all seven of her kids. And I don't care for what reasons it happened for."
"We still have Harry and James, they need us now more than ever. The doctors say with time Harry might be able to get a part time job." Molly hated to think of her son-in-law lying in fetal position confusing night with day, plus she had motherly insistent that told her he would never recover. For every one that didn't die were driven mad and mentally tortured. She sometimes didn't know what was worse. And Arthur was right there were the grandkids. They would receive custody of James, that was decided earlier in the week. Charlie's wife's family was getting Celestria but they did promise to let them visit whenever they wished.
"When is the next funeral scheduled?" She asked him while whipping away the tears.
"It's in two hours we will have enough time to sign those papers to get James and grab a bite for lunch." He told her has he read through the newspaper.
"Who is this one for?" So many deaths, so many funerals it was becoming difficult to keep them all-straight.
"Dean Thomas, you know the tall boy at Ron's class at Hogwarts?" She nodded her head in response, she remembered who he was, she remembered them all.
