"What the hell is that thing? Gilbert questioned, his blood red eyes scanning the crystal blue horizon, focusing on the two enormous hands that sprouted from the sea.

Antonio's vibrant green eyes gazed around his ship taking in the shocked and wonder in his crews' eyes

"Well," he shouted, gaining the attention of the burly, sea beaten men that scatted the deck, "let's have a look shall we boys!" Antonio was met with silence. "Come on men, where's your sprit? Queen Maria sent us out here for a reason; to find new territory, and look what we found. Who knows what treasures await on those hands?" Still his men remained silent, looking at their captain as if he had lost his mind.

Antonio sighed "I'm going to regret this but fine," he mumbled bringing his hand to his forehead, "after we explore the island we can dock in The Canary Islands for a week." Antonio stumbled when his crew erupted into cheers at the news.

The men, still cheering started to lower the dingy and gather the necessary weapons and supplies. Huge smiles adorned their scared, dirty faces as they got ready to leave.

Gilbert walked up to his friend and Captain, slapping him on the back. "Finally Toni, we've wanted to dock for weeks now. I can't believe how easily the tricked the most fearsome pirate of the sea." Antonio looked at his first mate in disbelief. "Really? My own crew tricked me so they could drink and gamble for a week." "Yes sir ye" Gilbert said a smile still stretching across his pale face.

Antonio dropped to the deck, placing his head to his knees. His worn leather boots soft, against his tanned skin. "These men will kill me yet Gilbert." He wearily muttered into his boots. Gilbert leaned back as he chuckled, "no, but we may throw you overboard." Antonio's head snapped up his chocolate curls bouncing with the sudden movement. "You would never." "Want to bet", Gilbert teased as his devil eyes sparkled with mischief.

Moving faster than Antonio could react to, Gilbert scooped up his flaying Captain, who was screaming bloody murder and rushed to the side of the ship. "Plug your nose Toni." He cackled throwing his cursing Captain into the clam blue waters below.
