It had been about a year sense Emil and Lukas had moved in and everyone was finally starting to get adjusted.
Tino of course had liked the brothers from the start, but only now was he starting to understand the subtle gestures that showed when Lukas was happy or sad, and only now did he know when to stop talking so the Emil wouldn't start shouting. Mathias had also taken a liking to the two as soon as they moved in, but now he was knew them well enough to joke with Lukas and help calm down Emil. Of course Berwald's biggest accomplishment was that now he could walk into the room without ether brother screaming or running in fear.
As for the brothers themselves, Lukas had officially finished unpacking his bookshelf and Emil...
Well Emil had made a new friend, well friend might no be the right word, but it was a friend no one else knew about, and he had been going to meet this friend quite a lot lately. The other four had noticed too, and it was during one of Emil's little visits that everything went horribly wrong.
It all started one day when Emil had not so discreetly snuck out of the house and, hearing the door slam shut, Lukas declared that his poor little brother was probably gallivanting around with hooligans and that he was going to go follow the boy. The other three adults insisted on coming along and that is how the four of them ended up hiding behind the bushes in a nearby park well Emil sat a few feet away on a park bench with his boyfriend Kaoru.
"See now, what did I say?" hissed Lukas as he glared at Kaoru, "obviously that boy is a bad influence on my sweet little brother, he must be stopped!"
Mathias just laughed, "Come one Luke, they're only talking."
Unfortunately for Mathias that was the moment the Koaru decided to lean over and kiss Emil right on the lips.
The sight of his brother doing something like that made Lukas distraught and he ended up flinging his danish friend out of the bushes and onto the concrete walkway. As Mathias yowled in pain the Norwegian jerked himself into a standing position and walked into the open with a growl, "You call that just talking Mat?"
At this point Emil had more then noticed the disruption and was staring at the two in horror, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE? YOU FOLLOWED ME DIDN'T YOU! I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU BOTH SOME DAY!" and with that he let go of his boyfriend and lurched to his feet, fully intending to strangle his brother.
But then a miracle occurred as Tino leaped out of the bushes and tackled the feisty teen to the ground, "Don't hurt your brother Emil! Now. Tell us who this young man is and I'm sure everything will be okay."
Emil sat up with a grumble, but before he could say anything Koaru stood up and walked over to the four Europeans, "Hey, I'm Koaru, Emil's boyfrind, nice to finally meet you guys."
Lukas, instead of responding like a normal person began prattle on about how Emil was much to young to be dating witch was quickly met with a "shut up brother" and a, "let it be Lukas."
And so with the unhappy Norwegian having quieted down they retrieved Berwald from the bushes and invited Koaru over for dinner, and oh what a dinner it was.
