Kiru City was enjoying a nice cool day. The wind was blowing every few minutes, children happily ran around the streets with no fear of any other tribes invading, and grass was even starting to grow in patches. Maxxor watched from a balcony, feeling strangely at peace for the first time in over a year. He was so calm that he didn't even notice Intress humming as she walked up to him, hoping to get his attention again.

But her reason was different this time. Normally she would want to inform him of something or ask how she could help him, but she was always eager to hear even the slightest hint of him flirting with her. She had loved him for years, but now she was finished. Maxxor had never noticed her, and he never would.

"It seems like everything is alright." Maxxor jumped a bit at hearing her voice. He turned his attention to her and immediately looked surprised, as if he had seen something strange and didn't know how to react, but Intress wasn't surprised; she normally wore close to nothing, but today she had on a tank style dress that barely touched her knees. "I don't think you have anything to worry about today."

"Yes, everything seems to be perfect." Maxxor turned his attention back to his city.

"Too perfect?" his assistant questioned him, worried about her leader and trying to push back any other emotions her heart dared to feel.

"I think we should just try to enjoy the day." Maxxor's words surprised her. "It's not everyday you get dressed up."

"Oh, you noticed my dress?" Maxxor had never noticed her clothes before, and if did then he certainly didn't say anything about it.

"It looks very beautiful on you." Maxxor could hear her heart pounding "Am I embarrassing you?"

"Not at all!" Intress assured him loudly as he ears when back. Today was just too good to be true.

Warning: Incoming game. Warning: Incoming game.

The warning came as lightning flew across the sky but never fell from it. Instead a dark purple square slowly made it's way from the center of the storm. Citizens froze in fear at first at the strange sight, but after one loud scream they quickly scattered away from it.

Maxxor and Intress watched in shock as the peace was ruined. This was definitely the most bizarre thing either of them had ever seen, and neither of them knew what they were now up against. They were in too much shock to run to the apparent invasion, but somehow Maxxor had they presence of mind to know one thing.

"I need to have a talk with Tom about this."
