It is day, midday if I am not mistaken. I am in a forest, and I have stayed here for three nights, and I have grown to hate it with all my heart. Even so, it is well enough here, and I guess I will stay here for awhile more.
I watch a squirrel, it watches me. Those beady little eyes stare at me from afar, mischief shining in them. Its gray tail twitches, and it chatters, tiny voice coming out in small quakes. I grunt softly, sitting back on my haunches, licking my lips in distaste as it crawls down the base of the tree, never breaking eye contact.
It sits as well, taking this time to scratch an ear leisurely, but it still eyes me, and I grow impatient. I stand up slowly, yawning as I stretch my muscles, and take one step and it stops scratching, sitting completely still. Stupid little beast. I take another step, and see its muscles begin to relax as I bob my head with achievement.
I near it, smelling the nuts it ate, the bark of the trees. I ignore the smell and stop in front of it, reading its undecided face as it chooses not to cower before me. I sit once again, and scratch the ground with annoyance. Now it gets up, and presses its miniature paws against my chest, sniffing me thoroughly. I think its nose must be clogged, not smelling all that's over me.
I touch my nose to his, and it lowers itself to the ground. It begins to back up, but I growl, and it freezes. It cocks its head, thinking me a friend. I smile softly, and for one moment, I almost thought it a friend, as well.
Too bad I'm a Warg, and I'm hungry. With one snap of my jaws, I have my meal.

A/N- My little short vignette! YAY! I wanted to try something new, and this is the first time I've ever written in first person. Or in the eyes of a Warg. Heck, I think it's the first time anyone's written in the eyes of a Warg. XD
