Hi again. Me dreping around with another one shot. Yes dreping :) Anyway, I should be ready to update Abyss of the Deep next weekend (Lovi and I are having a bit of disagreement with his derping in fear) I hope ye enjoy this and if anyone can tell me where the quote in italics is from, I'll write you a one-shot :)

Disclaimer: Don't own.

"Purpose. It's that little thing that lights a fire under your ass. It keeps you going like a car with a full tank of gas."

Antonio Fernandez Carriedo always believed that everyone in the world had some sort of purpose which would become apparent to them at some point in their lives, no matter how late. Finding it was the thing. Sometimes you find it, sometimes it finds you. His friends, Francis and Gilbert, seemed to have already found theirs. For Francis, it appeared that his was to pester Eyebrows and to make women feel beautiful with flirtations and compliments, even if it only lasted a few moments. Gilbert's, on the other hand, seemed to be being irritating yet awesome and to help that shy Canadian hockey player out of his shell.

Antonio however couldn't seem to find his.

Antonio sat under "The Bad Touch Tree" as it had become known (it was where he, Gilbert and Francis, the Bad Touch Trio, normally hung out) in the school courtyard and pulled his lunch out of his bag. He was eating alone today, both Francis and Gilbert were late coming back for the start of the school year as they were still visiting relatives in their home countries.

Just as he was about to dig into his lunch, a third year walking across the grass caught his eye. It was one of Francis' Italian cousins who had moved there in late August. Antonio assumed this was Lovino, the older of the two. He'd met the cheerful ball of energy that was Feliciano, the younger brother, two week before. Antonio had asked about Lovino but Francis had advised him not to bother with him as he'd "bite off that attractive Spanish head of yours (and a few other parts as well), mon ami."

Lovino, as though sensing that he was being watched, glanced up from the ground he'd been scowling at and locked eyes with Antonio. Antonio smiled at him. ("If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours, Tonio.", his abuela always said.)

Lovino, almost unconsciously, smiled back at him. Antonio felt his breath immediately leave his body. He'd seen so many smiles in his life but never before had he seen on as beautiful as Lovino's.

Lovino seemed to realise what he was doing and immediately switched back on the scowl. He turned on his heel and stalked back inside. Antonio leaned back against the tree and closed his eyes. He knew his purpose now.

To keep that smile on Lovino's face.

This happened to me (sort of) about a week ago. There's this girl in my school who some of us call "the possessed first year" because... well she kinda looks possessed. Anyway, she always looks really surly then one day, she was going to the hall for lunch and I smiled at her, just being nice. And holy shit, she looked so pretty when she smiled.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!

Ja!
