Disclaimer: My name is not Schuldig. Therefore, I do not have the power to make you believe I own Weiss Kreuz.

Notes: So, for once, I wrote something fluffy and somewhat humorous. However, it is, surprisingly, NOT Aya/Yohji, so I was kind of shy about posting it for a while. But, it IS my second favorite Weiss pairing of Brad/Schu (who I sometimes nickname the BS pairing).

For the two German phrases used in the fic, please see the notes at the bottom.

Please tell me what you think of it~

Sparkly Toothpaste and Medicine Cabinets

Brad Crawford was worried, which was rare, but when he got into the rare fits of anxiety, they tended to hover darkly and heavily around him.

Which was how his mood had been all day.

Until Schuldig walked into the study (no knocking, as per usual) and smacked him upside the head (lightly—Schuldig liked being alive) before unleashing a grin both inane and insane at once and whining over the lack of sparkly toothpaste in the house.

Brad rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Nagi is in high school, Schuldig. He probably did not use children's toothpaste even when he was of age for it. And regardless of how young you are mentally, I am not buying toothpaste that may have more sugar than cleaning agent for anyone who has passed puberty."

Schuldig smirked. "Your loss, führer." There was a pregnant silence before Schuldig stood up to leave, probably to prance around the house and terrorize the rest of the team.

"Schuldig?" Brad stated, because he was not the kind of person to ask. The fire-haired annoyance turned his head and grinned cheekily.

"Selbstverständlich."

"…thanks."

Schuldig's eyes bulged. "I'm going to back away slowly and go remove my food from the refrigerator." Brad stared at him as if Schuldig had just offered to feed Farfarello alphabet soup. On second thought, this was far stranger.

"Refrigerator?" Brad finally uttered.

"You obviously have been sticking some bad substances into your system, and a lot of those substances make people especially hungry. I have a sneaking suspicion that Pothead Brad has a Godzillan appetite and I like my food."

Brad almost laughed. He settled for smiling instead.

Schuldig's eyes grew even larger than before, if that was possible. "Ok, now I know you got into the medicine cabinet."

Somehow, with the irony of that statement (from Schuldig, of all people), Brad could not find it in himself to be worried anymore.

A/N: Schuldig calls Brad "führer", which means leader, and, incidentally, was a title used to refer to Hitler.

Also, Schuldig's reply of "selbstverständlich" means "of course". Brad is actually calling his name, but Schuldig is being annoying and using it as a real question, like Brad saying, "[Are you] Guilty?" and Schuldig replying, "Of course."
