Tatiana fluffed her pillow up and grunted. She knew this night was going to be a rough one. Maybe, just maybe, if she'd just went to bed early like she was supposed to she wouldn't be so restless at the moment. She tossed herself onto her other side, making the old springs inside the mattress creak a little. Then she continued to admonish herself about staying up later than she was supposed to. "Maybe If Dylan wouldn't have showed up to bug me about how he wanted to get kinky I would've went to bed. He's so disgusting…. Why do I even bother dating that tool?" She thought. Again, it was going to be a long night for her. A long night of th- Wait, no. It wouldn't be a long night of thinking. Because just then, as she was about to reach her phone to text Dylan her all-famous "It's over," message, she heard the window slowly creak open.
"Jesus, it's probably Dylan coming back for sloppy seconds… the douche." She thought once more. Maybe- maybe if she pretended to be asleep Dylan would go away. Yeah, Dylan would just go the fuck away and she could finally catch some sleep for the night. She quickly rested her head onto the pillow and closed her eyes. She heard a thump sound in her room. "Dylan's fat ass thudding himself onto my carpet…" She insulted him in her thoughts. She heard the footsteps sneak their way to someplace in the room- sounded like the corner, or maybe the middle. She couldn't see, so she had no idea on where exactly the creep was in her room. But she did second-guess herself. Why wasn't he trying to wake her up… or calling her name?
The room was silent, except for the gusts of loud wind that entered through the creaked window. "Sigh…" Tatiana thought to herself. Dylan was staring at her while she slept like he was some cliché vampire from The Twilight Saga. She was getting impatient alright. An hour had gone by from the time Dylan crawled through the window. What was he doing? Tatiana couldn't take it anymore. She had to slap him, or yell at him. Maybe she could scream and her parents would slam her door open to beat the living hell out of Dylan. Then she wondered why was she even being so harsh to Dylan again? Oh, right. He's the reason she isn't getting any sleep. She decided to sit up in bed and tell Dylan to leave. Yeah, that would do it. He would just leave. "Just go on, sit up, and yell at Dylan to leave." She thought. Suddenly, she rose up to face Dylan and tell him to leave. But instead, she sat there; frozen.
The person standing there wasn't Dylan. No, it was a different man. Some… man with highly pale skin; A man with burnt, black, scraggly hair; A man with singed eyelids; A man with sliced cheeks to form a eerie smile upon his face. Tatiana couldn't stop staring at this man, a man so unreal that it frightened Tatiana to the core. But when the man tilted his head and said," Sh. Just go to sleep…" while raising his knife, Tatiana shrieked like she never, ever shrieked before. This urged the… creature… to lunge forward onto Tatiana and plunge his knife into her throat just in time before her scream could alert anyone near. Jeff, that man, giggled. Do you want to know why he giggled? Because Tatiana's numbered days… finally ended.
