Little Colin Creevy waved his wand around casting spells in the common room.

A moment later his wand arm found itself in a firm grip.

'Behaviour young man. I do not like a wand to be used like that!'

Said boy looked confused at his head of house.

'I was only practicing.'

'We have class rooms for that young man and a practice room.

'But.' The boy stammered.

'A little life lesson is needed it seems.' The professor said.

The entire common room quietened down.

'When I was young all the farmhands and farmers living in our town carried knives. They used it for their trade because walking inside to get a knife to cut loose an animal costed too much time. They all said they would pull when attacked. It was a bit of a joke. At one time one of the farmhands got depressed the first thing he did was giving his knife away.

'Why?' asked Hermione Granger.

'A knife, like a wand or a gun are a responsibility. If you can't handle them properly you shouldn't have them replied the professor before standing up and walking out of the common room.

Little Colin Creevy looked at the ground while the professor walked away.

Some lessons where hard to learn.

This story was created after the recent shootings. It is a little lesson about responsibility. You can't fight an idiot. But teach responsibility.

A knife and a gun should be used proper.
