all of this forgotten

but not by me

"We were created - built. We have a mission and we have a purpose. See, we're not like you. We were some science experiement gone right depending on how you look at it. We were the soldiers and we were the leaders and most of the time we all came back home victorious." Faith Lehane sat back in her chair as she used her arm to reach out for the pack of cigarettes laying on the table. She was pale and her deep brown hair seemed to only make her look paler. She almost looked as crazy as people said she was. Faith heard what people said: she was crazy, she was murderer, and she was everything evil. Was any of it true? Maybe.

"Created for what?" Allison Argent tried to make her words come out strong but they came out shaky. When her father drove her to this place, he was vague on why exactly she would be here. All he said was that she needed to hear the truth before she made a decision - that she needed to be completely out of the dark and the only person that could help her with that would be Faith Lehane. Of course, Allison remembered her. She remembered the fire cracker of a girl who could roll with the guys and yet could have the gracefulness to stand up and say 'I am woman but I can still kick your ass.' Allison used to look up to her in a way. She used to want to be just like Faith. She wanted the confidence and the attitude and she wanted to be tough. That's how she saw Faith but now whatever light the woman had was gone and now was just an empty shell of who she used to be.

"To kill." Faith said it with such ease that it almost made Allison's stomach turn. "What do you think sweet pea? You live with a family of werewolf hunters. We weren't created to make a batch of cookies or to pass out lemonade when the men came home. We were created to be stronger. We were created to go out there and take whatever werewolf came our way out."

Allison stayed quiet. She didn't know how to react to that although she shouldn't have been surprised. Maybe there happened to be a lot more to her family than she had initially realized. There seemed to be so much more than she just didn't know or understand. At first, she thought it was simply or at least as simple as it was going to get: there were werewolves and there were werewolves hunter. Point blank.

"So are you ready?"

Faith's question snapped Allison out of her thoughts. Was she ready? Was she really ready to learn about her family's history? About everything Faith knew? About everything that she saw? She wasn't so sure about that but she knew she didn't really have a choice. Allison needed to hear this. She needed to know the truth and she needed to hear it from Faith.

"I'm ready." Allison sat up a little straighter to show Faith that she had her full attention. She was as ready as she was ever going to be.

Faith smiled at Allison as she finally took out a cigarette from the pack she had laying in front of her. She lit it and took one long drag before exhaling the smoke. Glancing at the cancer stick in her hands - not that she cared much, everyone died sooner or later - she soon turned her attention back on the youngest Argent.

"Once upon a time..."

Note: I really like the idea of Faith/Derek and entering her into the Teen Wolf world.
