Yet another weekend wasted on shopping, Reita thought to himself. He looked at the ever growing amount of bags he was carrying and shook his head. He had already been dragged through half the mall, looking at whatever caught his petite lovers attention. This time it was a new selection of sunglasses in the display window. How many pairs did one person honestly need? He walked up to the smaller man as he tried on yet another style. He couldn't help the smile that came across his face as he saw the other checking his reflection from different angles. Ruki was always so damn picky about how everything needed to look just right. "What do you think of these?" Ruki asked, catching sight of him in the mirror.
"They look fine. Just like the other ten pairs you tried already," Reita said with only a hint of exasperation coloring his voice.
"That's what I was afraid of." The sunglasses were discarded and another pair selected.
After another thirty minutes of browsing and discarding probably every set in the display they left empty handed. There was a first time for everything. The two had a quick bite to eat and then it was back to shopping. Reita sighed as they entered the pet store, knowing this would take as long, if not longer, than any other store. Damned if Koron wasn't the most pampered dog he had ever known. One leash with matching collar and three toys later it was off to the next distraction.
Crap. The jewelry store. This was going to take at least an hour if not two. Why the store didn't have any place to sit was a constant source of annoyance for the blonde. If they had at least one chair he could stretch out his legs and maybe even take a nap. Instead he placed the pile of bags at his feet, leaned against the wall and crossed his arms over his chest.
Ruki went to look at the rings first and looked over the latest additions. He found several he wanted but decided to purchase only one. Next came the necklace case with all it's sparkly beauty. As nice as the pieces were he didn't find anything that screamed at him to take it home. The bracelets caught his attention but only briefly. Finally the earrings captured his attention and he gave every piece his undivided attention. As he was lifting a particularly simple stub to his ear he happened to glance at his watch. Had he really spent almost three hours in here already? Guiltily he glanced over his shoulder to were Reita had taken his usual post. Had the bassist honestly fallen asleep this time? Ruki handed the earring back to the clerk saying he would take it and the ring. On impulse he added a set of matching rings that he looked at with longing every time he came here. "Wake up, sleepy head," he crooned as he wrapped his arms around the taller mans waist.
"Huh? Are we finally done?" he asked as he ruffled his loves unruly brown hair.
"I think so." Ruki flashed him a devious grin.
"Do I even want to know how much you bought this time?"
"Not all that much," he pouted just a little.
"You say that every time," Reita groaned.
"Don't worry, babe. You'll always be my best accessory," Ruki said with sweetly as he pulled the other down for a passionate kiss.
