Yugi was in his room changing in his usual clothes. He was 20 years old and looking for a job. He still looked the same but as tall as a man. He hasn't been dueling, seen his friends, has graduated, and looking for a new start of his life. He has missed his partner. His Yami. His secret love... Yugi was very sad and hadn't moved on since the day of Yami, a.k.a Atemu, had to go to the afterlife. He really missed him. But now he is trying his best to move on and hoping he gets a fresh, new start. He was into his clothes and gone outside to his new start.
He walked all over Domino City to find a job but no place has time for people being hired. That made Yugi upset... He wished he could at least have a job. He walked home until he saw two people grab him and knock him out.
Yugi woke up in his house and saw his grandpa by him and murmured, "Gr... Grandpa...?" His grandpa looked at him and smiled, "Grandson, you're awake. Thank, goodness."
"Where... Where am I?" Yugi asked.
"At home. You were saved by these two who somehow know you. Their names are Atemu and Yami I believe." He said and Yugi sat straight up, shock. How can there be two people that have the same name he knew of the same person. Suddenly a voice said, "Hello, Aibou. How are you?" and Yugi turned around behind him and saw Yami. He literally came into tears. Happy tears... What made him stop was he saw a man who look exactly like Atemu.
"How is this possible?" Yugi thought.
"We are Yami and Atemu. We saved you from these men who tried kidnapping you, Partner." Yami said as Yugi was shock. How in the world did this happen? How did the same person get two separate bodies?
"B-but you two should be the same person. Not different people." Yugi stuttered.
"Well we will tell you later but as guards, we must take care of you." Atemu said and Yugi was confused until his grandpa explained they would be Yugi's guards for the rest of his life. Yugi spoke out loud of everything that happen, "How did this happen?"
