this is a story about my imperial agent Valcanor. This is where he's up against Darth Jadus. He is not going to die as this is an alternate ending to His Last Words. Oh and this character is written to be that awkward character who likes an other but doesn't know how to say it so yeah. romancing Watcher 2 so expect some sadness I can't write.

The agent pushed himself from the floor. Darth Jadus watched from the side. The agent fell into a coughing fit. He fell back down. The Sith watched. He almost felt sorry for the boy. Almost. He put up a good fight but Cyper 9 stood no chance. Blood stained the white uniform red. Jadus watched as the agent shook before turning away emotions he thought were gone came surfacing back. Sadness. He quickly pushed them away and buried them. He walked away. The agent was left alone.

Cyper 9 was scared. He would never admit it. He never did. He always put forth a strong front to keep the teamsmorale up. He never showed true emotion. This time was different. He was hurting more then he ever had before. He knew he would lose from the start. He had one regret. He wished he could have told Watcher 2 his true feelings. Now he never would. He grabbed hold of a railing and managed to stumble towards the door before falling. He slid up to a wall next to the door. If only he could stand and get out of there. He couldn't. It was foolish, going in to fight a member of the dark council alone. How could a mere 19 year old even hope to defeat Darth Jadus. 19. Cyper 9 wondered what the others would think. Would they be sad, shocked, or would they be unsurprised. Probably believing him to be weak like he was. he thought about what life would have been like if he had not joined Imperial Intelligence. Would he have stayed on his family's farm? Would he have become a merchant or pilot? Would he be in this predicament? These thoughts flew through his mind.

"Cyper 9 do you hear me? Cyper 9 report!" The voice of Watcher 2 broke through his daze. He groaned and turned on his holocom.

"I hear you Watcher 2." He said. Watcher 2 looked up from the keyboard she had been at when she heard his weak voice.

"Cyper 9, what happened?" She asked. She was surprised to hear him like that. He was either confident and determined or socially awkward. That's why she was attracted to him. Hearing him like this, well, it was worrying.

"I'm fine-" what ever the agent was going to say was cut off by fits of coughing. Blood came out. Watcher 2 knew now what had taken place.

"Hold on Cyper 9, I'm alerting imperials near your position that you need medical attention." She said as she worked.

"No need. Listen, I-i don't know how to say this but, I love you. Just wanted to tell you before-" he coughed again and again. Time was running out. "Just promise me you'll be careful.".

"I'll try my best. And Cyper 9, I love you to." She said with a tear forming in her eye.

The agent coughed and dropped the holocom. It stayed on. His head fell as all went dark. The agent known as Cyper 9s vision went dark.

The medics arrived moments after he slipped away. Upon seeing his slumped form they sprang into action. One unslung a medkit that was brought as another checked the agents pulse.

"He's still alive sir!" The medic alerted the rest. He looked over the agent and assessed the damage. Cuts and bruises were most prominent. His arm was obviously broken. His clothes hid most of the other injuries sustained.

The medics carefully shifted the fallen imperial to a stretcher and hurried off.

time skip brought by a Sabaton song

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Cyper 9 groaned. He felt like someone had taken a hammer and slammed it on his head. Hard. Repeatedly. For a moment he was confused. Why was he here. What had happened. And most importantly, why did no one do anything about that constant beep. Then it all returned. The fight. Being defeated. Contacting Watcher 2. He was supposed to be dead. But he wasn't dead. It confused him.

"You may see him." The doctors voice came faintly. Cyper 9 heard hurried footsteps. Watcher 2 stepped through the door and they locked eyes.

"H-hey?" Cyper 9 said although it was more of a question then statement. She didn't say anything back. Instead she walked over. What happened next caused Cyper 9 a small amount of shock. She kissed him. After a couple of seconds he returned the kiss. An unspoken agreement was signed.

"Don't leave me".

"I won't. I promise.".

Well, that's the alternate ending to His Last Words. So did you like it? I'm not a doctor so I've got no clue if anything medical I wrote was right. Well, constructive criticism is welcome.
