So this is a papyrus x chara Storyshift fanfic, if you don't know the roles of the CHARActers here they are:
Asriel: is in Papy's place
Chara: in sans's place
Papyrus: toriel's place
Sans: Asgore's place (he and Papy were not married and instead of having the people in chara and asriel's place were their cousins who died,the brothers soon got in a fight and papyrus exiled himself to the ruins)
Toriel: in undyne's place, married to Asgore and mother of chara and Asriel
Asgore: alphys's place
Mettaton: in Chara's place
Napstablook: in asriel's place
Undyne: mettaton's place
Alphys: napstablooks place
Ships are: papyrus x chara, frisk x sans and the cannon ships_
Chara was leaning her head towards the door that separated the ruins from Snowdin, she was talking to who-knows-who. To be honest, she had started developing feelings for this stranger,
"Hey, why'd the skeleton want a friend?" The person said. "Why?" Chara asked, "tibia honest I guess he felt a little 'bonely'" he answered. Chara held back a snicker, "so, I was told a joke about chocolate, but it wasn't funny so I only 'snickered'"
Chara has started laughing her guts out, she could tell the person on the other side of the door was holding back a laugh. 'Let's try to get their name' chara thought, "so...I've been wanting to ask..."
She started "what's your name?"
Almost as soon as she finished those words the other person had become silent. Chara decided that wasn't the best card to play,
She waited.
And waited..
And waited more...
Even more...
"Knock knock"
No answer.
'Olive, olive who? Olive you...' she internally said sadly. Until she gave up and walked home.
"I am papyrus, the caretaker of this place" papyrus said to the human, who was crying silent tears.
"Aww no need to cry human!" He said, smiling
"But...I-I must..." the girl's lower lip quivered "I must go home..." the girl knew if she went home her father would probably lock her in the closet without food and rant about how much of a disgrace she was, but home was home. But after a while...she followed the skeleton through the ruins.
