Mission Begins

Kiba Inuzuka, stood next to his canine companion, as he was assigned yet another mission.

"Lady Tsunade, specifically said that you can't come on this mission with me, boy. She said it's because my partner for this mission is allergic to dogs. Sorry boy." Kiba spoke sadly to Akamaru.

The dog gave an upset bark. "Ruff! Ruff!" Then, he gave a sad whine. Kiba sighed, before walking away, waving to Akamaru as he walked off.

He ran to the front gate of the village. There, was a beautiful young woman, with red-brown hair, bunched into a ponytail. Her brunette eyes looked over, at the young man.

"You must be Akira, right? I'm Kiba Inuzuka." He said. Akira sighed and looked away. "Whatever. Let's just get this mission over with." She spoke, showing no mercy.

"Ok then.." Kiba said, looking confused at her. They headed off.

Timeskip

The ended up setting up camp, a few miles from the village.

On the entire way, they said nothing to each other. Akira seemed very cold, and unsocial. She wouldn't even look at Kiba.

"You reek of dog. It's horrible." Akira finally spoke up. "Well sorry for having a ninken."

(A/N : Ninken - are essentially dogs that have heightened senses and abilities and as such are able to work with ninja. )

"Whatever. I'm going to take a bath." She said, going to a nearby lake, clothing in hand.

Kiba didn't really pay attention to the girl. He kept his gaze at the star lit sky.

Meanwhile, Akira was soaking in the lake. She sighed in relief. It was very pleasant. She had a small smile on her face.

Kiba began setting up the tent, so they could sleep in a comfortable place. Despite the fact the ground will still be beneath them.

He smiled at the progress he made. He had even started a fire for warmth.

Akira was headed back to the camp. She was dressed in comfortable clothing. She sat beside the fire, so her dark auburn hair could dry.

Kiba looked at the mysterious girl. It's like she was an emotionless puppet.

"So uh, Akira right? Where are you originally from?"Kiba broke the impending silence.

"I don't remember." She spoke quietly.

"Oh..sorry for asking..." "It's fine."

She stood up and went to the previously set up tent. She climbed into her sleeping bag.

Kiba sighed and took his jacket off. He head to the tent and laid in his sleeping bag.
