A walk with you

This is a Taiora ficcie, so sorry for those who don't like those two! This is also my first fict, so it may not be all that great....

*The rain was dripping down like it would never stop. The clouds were grey and thick. Somewhere, deep inside a nearby park, people were rushing to get out of the heavy rain. All except a few, who enjoyed the sound of the rain's steady fall. One boy, however, also wanting to get out of the rain to do some schoolwork, did not totally mind the rain itself and took his time on getting home, his mind on a special girl...*

"Oh, I do wish it would stop raining so much! I have to get home! Ahh! Gomen!" Sora had been walking in the rain and was trying to get home before she got her new shirt wet; she forgot her umbrella at home. She looked up at the person she had bumped into.

"Gomen! Are you alright? ... Tai?!" Tai looked at Sora.

'Sora! Oh, such a lovely smile, even when wet... Her hair smells like fresh roses, just picked off the bush on the first day of spring...'

"Oh!" Tai snapped back to reality.

"Daijoubu?" He helped her to her feet.

"Yes, thanks..." Tai noticed that Sora had no umbrella of her own and knew that her house was far off.

"Are you going somewhere or are you going home?" he asked.

"Um, home... Why?" Tai looked away. "I was just wondering, because I noticed that you don't have an umbrella... You're going to get all wet before you can get home; you might catch a cold." Sora smiled.

"Thanks, but I think I can manage, Tai"

"Well, I can walk you back home, if you want Sora... I'm going to go by your house, anyway." Sora glanced at Tai, sort of surprised.

"You'd do that for me?"

"Of course. You're my friend, aren't you?" And so, the two were off.

*Walking down a sidewalk...* "Thanks for doing this, Tai." Tai sighed. "I told you, you're a friend! Of course I'd do this!" Sora looked shyly at Tai. Tai blushed.

"Um, Sora... I... uh..." Sora's face went a slight pink.

"Hai?" Tai looked down at his feet. "I... I..." [A/N: I think that Tai & Sora are really meant for each other^^ So please excuse me if this seems a bit mushy^.~] Tai stopped walking. He faced up. They were currently at a quiet edge of the park, where they wasn't a single person for at least a hundred meters.

"Sora...," he whispered softly. Sora looked up at his eyes.

"Hai...?" she said, also softly. "I... think I love you..." Tai closed his eyes, hoping, that this angel infront of him, wouldn't reject him of his quote. Sora tipped on her toes. She pulled out her finger and gently pushed up one of Tai's eyelids.

"No need to be ashamed. I... I love you too!" She whispered quietly. And gave him a quick kiss on the cheeck.

"Oh, Sora! I... was so afraid of what you would think." Tai said. His nose slowly crept towards Sora's. Closer... and closer... until the two lips brushed against each other... *The End*
