Twelve years ago, The Hidden Leaf Village is under attack by a terrible beast known as Nine Tails Fox. Many brave Shinobi fought against the monster to drive him back only for some them to lose their lives to him. However as things seemed grim for themthem, they were saved by the village's leader, The Fourth Hokage by sacrificing his life and putting an end to the beast's rampage. Before passing away, he sealed the beast in two infants. A yellow hair boy and a red hair girl. This is a story of two twin siblings learning how to survive in the ninja world. The story of Naruto and Momiji Uzumaki.

~~Twelve years later~~

Morning has come to the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The citizens there are up and about, and is ready to get their day started. However, they just got one little problem. And that problem is Naruto Uzumaki. Everyday, he started trouble for everyone by painting certain things and other stuff that no other kid would do. Today, he had painted all of the Hokage's faces and is now getting chased by the leaf shinobis. But, this isn't about him. This is about his twin sister who is the complete opposite of him but still love him to death. This is about me: Momiji Uzumaki! Believe it!

After getting my stuff ready, i left home and head to the Academy. When i got there, i blinked for a second because Iruka isn't here. Must be going after Naruto again. I don't know who to feel sorry for.

But, Naruto did painted on the faces of the Hokage earlier so i can understand his frustration. I just wish the people here would be at least nice to him and to me now that i think about it. Don't get me wrong, i love Konoha, it's my home, it's just...the people here piss me off bad. They treat us like dirt or like the scum of the earth. We didn't do anything to them at first but they don't care...they never cared. That's why me and Naruto live alone because of that. Well, that's okay. Because i got Naruto and he's the only thing i need in my life. Well, one of the few people but he's more important to me than the others.

So I sat in the seat near the window where i usually sit at and stare out of the window. In front of me is the emo boy aka the oldest Uchiha twin, Sasuke Uchiha. His sister is sitting on the second upper row in the middle half of the room. I notices her looking at me and i just flip her off. If there's one thing you need to know about me is i really hate the Uchiha siblings. They think they're so cool because they are emo and think they can punk me and my brother out whenever they feel like it. I'll show those bastards a thing or two.

I noticed Sakura looking at me curious so i looked back at her annoyed. "What do you want, pink hair?" I questioned.

She looked away from me as she realized she got caught staring at me. "Well, i just realize that Naruto isn't with you and you two are usually with each other." She mumbled.

Some of the others glanced at us curiously. "He's, hmm...got some art to finish up. That's all." I stated nonchalantly.

Sakura looked confused. Then, i heard that annoying Tatsuo laughing in the background. "Oh yeah, i think he's gone "finishing up" his art. So, what did he painted this time? Someone's face, their houses, or dare i say, the faces of the Hokage?" Tatsuo asked. I knew that i was gonna have a shitty day already. This girl is about to go home with no teeth nor tongue if she don't shut up!

"Just let it go, Momiji. You know it's only gonna get worse if you argue with her." I looked at the left of me and see Shikamaru and his best friend Choji Akimichi. These two are the few people that talks to me and is friends with my brother. Luckily, i have them as my closest friends because it's hard to make friends when everyone is a dick to me and my brother and when you also attack and threaten those who hurt your brother.

I calmed down and stare out of the window again. "What do you two want?" I asked.

"We just came here because you seemed lonely and might need someone to talk to." Choji said. I chuckled. "Usually, i don't want anyone besides Naruto to sit next to me. But, since I'm cool with you two, i gonna let it slide for now."

Choji and Shikamaru sat down next to me. "Oh! I been meaning to ask you, why don't Tatsuo very much? Choji asked. I glanced at the front. "It's not just her i hate. I also have a distaste for the one who is sitting in front of me too. From the way they act to the way they treat us. Don't get me started with the fame and stuff."

Sasuke smirked. "Sounds like to me that you're jealous that we do things better than you and your annoying brother." I looked at Sasuke very annoyed by that but i calmed down because if i start yelling, that will prove that he is right. "I just gonna ignore that for now, Uchiha boy."

"What a drag. Anyway, me and Choji are gonna head back to our seats. Talk to you later, Momiji. Choji and Shikamaru went back to their seats.

Five minutes later, Iruka came in and threw a tied up Naruto on the floor. He was far from happy.

Everyone stared at my brother with annoyance. "I'm at the end of my rope, Naruto. You failed the graduation test last time and the time before that. Tomorrow you've got another chance and you're messing up again."

Naruto turned his head to the side. "Hmpf!" Iruka didn't like that at all.

"Fine! Because you missed it, Naruto, everyone will review the transformation jutsu!" Groans erupted as kids complained before shooting Naruto a dirty glare.

Goddamn it, Naruto. I sighed and shake my head. So, we all stood in line and watched as each student began to transform. Sakura went up and transformed into Iruka. She got him pretty good. Same tan skin, hair, and the scar on the bridge of his nose.

She transformed back when Iruka complicated her. Yes! I did it! Yes! Yes! Sasuke, did you see that?!" She questions excitedly.

Iruka and Sasuke ignored her as Iruka called Sasuke next. I was lost in thought trying to figure out what does Naruto see in that girl.

I watched Sasuke Perfected the jutsu as well. And frankly, I'm not surprised or impressed. It was Tatsuo's turn as she walked to Iruka.

Ino stood by me and Shikamaru by Naruto." This is a total waste of time, Naruto." Shikamaru started. "We always pay for your screw ups." Ino finished. Naruto just huffed. "Like i care." He then walked up to Iruka and got ready to perform.

I turned to my left and notices Naruto's little admirer or what i call her 'the shy but somewhat creepy stalker' looking at him. She did seem to always have a thing for him. Naruto did the hand sign. "Transform!"

"He's not gonna make it." Shikamaru stated. I glanced at him with annoyance. "And, what's make you think that he won't this time?!" He pointed at Naruto. "That."

I turned my attention to the front to see what Shikamaru is talking about and fell on the ground immediately at the same time Iruka fell with a nose bleed from seeing a naked, older, female version of my brother.

Naruto transformed back and laughed like a manic. "Got you! That's my Sexy Jutsu!"

"Cut the stupid tricks! This is your warning!" Iruka yelled. "I'm sorry. Geez." Naruto apologized.

I took off one of my sandals and threw it at Naruto's head. "Naruto, you dumbass! How many times do i have to tell you to stop using that disgusting jutsu?!" I notices Shikamaru staring at me funny. "What?!" I asked annoyed.

"Why is there blood coming out of your nose, as well?" Shikamaru asked. I felt the blood by my nose and got very embarrassed by it. "I don't know. Maybe, it's too hot or something." I lied. I glanced to the front and cover my nose. This day can't possibly get any worse.

~~A few hours later~~

Me and my big mouth. Currently, thanks to Naruto's 'art work' earlier, we are now cleaning off the faces of the Hokage's. "This sucks. Loser." Naruto grumbled. Well if you would've went to the Academy instead of goofing off, we won't be here cleaning up your mess, you idiot!" I replied. He looked over at me with puppy eyes. I sighed. "How are you my older brother yet act so immature?" I continued to wipe the paint off the Fourth Hokage's face. Then i paused and looked at the Fourth and i don't know why but...he kinda remind me of Naruto a little bit.

I heard Iruka talking to Naruto and me. "You're not going home until you cleaned off every single drop of paint. And Momiji, you don't have help him with this. You can go home."

I stopped wiping at the thought of going home alone. I hate not being around Naruto. He saved me from myself. And by that i mean, he saved me from committing suicide. After a certain incident occurs when we were little, i haven't been the same. "I appreciate the request, sensei. But, i can't just leave my brother here alone." I said then continued scrubbing. There was a moment of silence as we cleaned.

"Naruto? Momiji?" Iruka asked. We looked up at him. "What do you want now, sensei?" Naruto asked in suspicion and annoyance. "Well, i was jusy thinking maybe after you two clean this all up, i could take you guys out for some ramen. The good stuff, what do you think?" He scratched his cheek.

"No kidding?! Alright! Hey, bro, i bet i can clean all this paint faster than you!" I said excitedly. "Not if i have something to say about it!" Me and Naruto raced each other to see who will finish first.

It took us forever to clean all the paint off the faces but we did it. And as promised, Iruka treated us to some Ichiraku Ramen!

Naruto and i ate. I slurped some and a bright smile came to my face. If there's anything to make me and my brother happy is ramen. Nice, yummy ramen! "Naruto."

"Hm?" He was still slurping noodles so he couldn't properly answer Iruka. "Why would you do that to the Hokage's faces? I mean, you know who the Hokage are, don't you?"

"Of course i do." Naruto answered before downing his bowl.

After Naruto finished his bowl, he continued. "Everybody knows. They were the greatest shinboi of their time, right? The best of the best. Undefeated ninja champs. And the fourth Hokage's the one who saved the village from the Nine Tailed Fox. He was the most amazing."

The Nine Tails. Just hearing that name makes me get a shiver in my spine. And to make it worse, i been having nightmares about it. But, what makes it weird is that even though they're just dreams, it feels all too real to me. I wonder if me and Naruto has a connection to it.

I shook my head and continued to listen to Naruto and Iruka's conversation. "Then why did you-"

He was cut off by Naruto. "Because I'm going to be greater than any of them. Me. Naruto. The next Hokage! A ninja legend. Then everyone will have to stop disrespecting me and Momiji and look up to me! Believe it!" Iruka slurp the noodle that was hanging from his mouth.

I giggled at my brother's claim." Momiji, what about you? Do you want to be Hokage too?" Iruka asked. "Nah, i pass. That's the dream my brother been talking about for a long time now and i want him to make his dream come true. Besides, i don't like the name of title anyway." I said.

Naruto looked at me confused. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, the other kages in different villages got awesome names for their kage title but ours got the word Ho in it. That's my second reason on why i don't want to be Hokage." I explained.

Iruka started to realize that i was right about that. I'm surprised he didn't ask me how i know that word. I only know what that word mean from half of the people here calling me a little ho for no reason.

Naruto took off his goggles and turned towards Iruka. By the way, i kind of want to ask a little favor, sensei."

"You want another bowl?" Iruka guessed. "No. I want to try on headband. Come on please!" He clapped his hands together in the please sign. Iruka grabbed his headband. "Oh this? No way. You can only wear the leaf headband when you finally graduate from the academy and become a ninja. You've got to pass the tomorrow."

"That is so uncool!" Iruka laughed as he noticed something. Hey, is that why you took off your goggles?"

Naruto blushed a bit and looked forward. "Uh, i want another bowl!" He shouted, a tad angry. Iruka laughed at his childish acts as i chuckles at him.

I am glad we are having a good time. But now, I'm worry for what's about to happen tomorrow.

The next day came and me and Naruto are heading to the Academy.

Naruto notices that i was walking slowly behind him. "What's up, sis? Why are you looking so down for? You been like this before we left the house."

I looked up at him. "It's nothing, bro. But, just promise me that you will pass this test so we can be ninjas together."

Naruto put one of his hands on my head. Don't worry, sis. I will make it or my name isn't Naruto Uzumaki, the future Hokage! Believe it!" He said with a thumbs up.

He took his hand off my head and continued walking to the Academy. "I sure hope so, bro."

After making it to the Academy, everyone is getting ready for the shadow clone test. Once Iruka explain the test to us, every student participate one by one and passes with flying colors. Even those damn Uchiha twins passed. Then again, I'm still not surprised or impressed since they're the smartest in our class.

"Your turn, weirdo." Tatsuo said.

I growled at her but chose to ignore it. "Ok, let's just get this over with.

I walked up to Iruka and Mizuki. Naruto shouted. "Good luck, Momiji! Show them that you're better than Sasuke and his sister!"

I gave him a thumbs up as a thanks before continuing.

After a bit of other testing, the last clone test came up. "Alright, all you have to do is make three clones." Iruka said. I nodded and performed the hand signs.

I create three solid clones of myself. "Tada! Three clones! Just like you wanted."

Iruka and Mizuki smiled and nodded. "Nicely done, Momiji. Here you go." Iruka held up a headband.

"No, not yet. Not until Naruto passes as well." I see Iruka frowning about my decision. "But, Momiji-"

I cutted him off. "I don't want to hear it. I know this is the third time i done this, but I'm not going to be heartless and let my brother suffer here alone. We are the Uzumaki twins! We were born together, we will repeat the Academy together, understand? I'll be outside waiting to see the outcome of this." And i did just that.

Moments later, i am still waiting to see if my brother made it or not. All i see is the other students who did passed. They were happy and talking excitedly at their accomplishments. All i did was hope that Naruto also passed. I found him on the swing across from the academy with no headband on him.

I ran up to Naruto to ask him what happened. "Naruto, what happen?" He looked away from me. "What does it look like what happen? I didn't pass. I'm sorry, Momiji..."

Just by listening to his voice and seeing the look on his face, he was dejected and crushed. Naruto, I'm sorry that you didn't pass...

"There. You see them?" A lady asked.

"It's that boy and his violent sister. I heard he's the only one whi failed and his sister refuse to become a ninja without him." Another said.

"Hmpf. Well, it serves them right."

Just imagine what would happen if they became ninja. I mean, they are the kids who-"

"Shh! We're not supposed to talk about that."

"Right. Sorry."

I heard everything those ladies said and i was very angry about it. "If those ladies think they can get away with what they said, they got another thing coming. I'm going over there and give them a piece of my mind! Wanna come help me, bro?"

I turned around to see that Naruto left. Where did he go? I ran around the village in search of Naruto.

Bro, where are you? I've been searching for hours and hours on end. Then it came to me. If he's not in the village, then that could mean that he is outside of it. But the question is, where?

I heard shouting nearby. So i ran towards it. It sounded like Iruka.

"Oh, I'll tell you who's really lying." That voice. Is that...Mizuki?

"No, Mizuki!" Iruka yelled.

"They've been lying to you and your sister your guys' whole life, Naruto. Since the decree twelve years ago." Twelve years ago? Wait, isn't that...

"What decree?" Naruto asked. I stopped behind a tree and watched. I see Iruka with a wound on his leg, Mizuki up in a tree, and Naruto standing there confused. What is going on here?

Mizuki smirked down at him. "Everyone knows except you and Momiji. Iruka's trying to hide it from you two even now. He'd do anything to shut me up."

What do he mean by that? Could it be... "What is this decree? Why does everyone else know about it?" Naruto asked.

"Don't tell him! It's forbidden!" Iruka screamed. He seemed desperate for him to shut up. I really starting to have a bad feeling about this. "The decree is no one can tell you or your sister the Nine Tailed Fox is inside both of you!"

I eyes widened. Then memories of my nightmares started appearing in my mind. Those nightmares...wasn't nightmares at all... I have part of a monster inside of me... "The fox spirit that killed Iruka's parents and destroyed our village has split up and has taken over your guys' bodies. You two are the Nine Tailed Fox!"

"Stop it!" Iruka shouted desperately. "They've all been sneaking around, hiding things from both your whole life. Didn't you think it was strange how they treated you and your sister? Like dirt. Like they hated you two for just being alive."

So that's it. That's why everyone hated us. Mizuki smirked more. "That's right! You two will never be accepted in this village. Even your beloved sensei hates your guts."

The thought of Iruka hating us for something that happened twelve years ago makes me feel very foolish for trusting him.

"Die Naruto!" Mizuki threw a giant shuriken at Naruto. My eyes widened. Naruto fell back in surprise. I watched as the shuriken neared him. I was frozen with fear to go help my own brother.

"Naruto, get down!" Iruka shouted. I closed and covered my eyes to prevent myself from seeing what's gonna happen next.

When i open my eyes, i was in shock that Iruka used his body as a shield to save Naruto.

"W-why?" Naruto asked.

"Because we're the same. When i lost my parents, no one seemed to care. They didn't have time for me. They didn't have time for me. They just forgot i was there. My grades dropped, i bbecame the class clown. I just wanted them to see me and to know my name. My school work wasn't good enough to get their attention so did crazy things and then i had to pay for it. It was hard. I know that's how you feel Naruto."

Tears were streaming down Iruka's face and on Naruto. "You feel lonely and it hurts inside. And i could have been there for you more. Both of you. I let you two down. I'm sorry. No one should have to suffer that much. No one should be alone like that.

Tears started streaming down my face after hearing that but should i trust him still?

Apparently Mizuki said something that made Naruto to run away. Iruka called out for Naruto.

I still not sure what to do. I want to go save Iruka but part of me doesn't want to. What should i do?!

I heard Mizuki saying even more stuff about me and Naruto but lruka is defending us. "That's where you're wrong. Yeah... the monster fox would do that... but those two are different. I've acknowledged them as... two of my excellent students. Naruto may not be the hardest worker and Momiji may be the friendliest person... and he is clumsy and she is violent and no one accepts them... but they already knows what it is to feel pain inside your heart. They isn't the monster fox. They are members of the Konohagakure. They're Naruto and Momiji Uzumaki!"

I was crying at this. He does care about us. He really does!

I wipe the tears off my face and jumped out. I stood in front of Iruka with a kunai in my hand. Iruka was surprised to see me. "Momiji? Where did you-"

I cutted him off once again. " I was hiding behind that tree over there. I heard everything. The decree. The Nine Tails. Everything. But, I'm not gonna let some punk diss me nor my brother and gets away with it! And i certainly won't let him lay a finger on you. That's a promise." Even though i couldn't see it, i knew Iruka was smiling at me and nodded.

"Well, well, well. Momiji, you finally came. You made it much easier for me. Now i don't have to track you down. I was also going to save Iruka for later but i guess I'm going to kill to birds with one stone. You two are finished!" Mizuki launched at us.

Then, Naruto appears from behind the tree he was hiding behind and kicked Mizuki from us. "Naruto!" I yelled excitedly.

"Not bad. For a little punk." Mizuki said. Looks who calling who a punk. "If you ever lay a hand on my sensei or my sister, I'll kill you!"

"Such big words. I can completely destroy you in a single move." Mizuki threatened. Naruto merely put his hands in a sigh. Wait, is that what i think it is? Can he really perform that?

"Take your best shot, fool. I'll give it back to you a thousand fold! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" My eyes widened. I can't believe what i am seeing. Thousands of Narutos! Everywhere! And they are solid clones!

I watched as Naruto easily defeated Mizuki. Light started setting and Naruto stood in front of a defeated Mizuki. "Sorry. I kind of got carred away. You alright, Iruka-sensei?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah." I grinned and ran at Naruto and tackled him in a hug. We fell to the ground. "Bro, you're so cool! I can't believe you mastered that Jutsu! I'm very happy for you, Naruto!"

I was so happy for him. My brother has finally mastered the Shadow Clone Jutsu! "Naruto, come here a minute. I've got something for you."

Naruto walked over to him and i watched curiously. I gasps in happiness after seeing the one thing i wanted him to have. A headband wrapped around his forehead. "Congratulations. You've graduated!"

Naruto looked stunned beyond belief. "And to celebrate, i have a surprise. We're going out for ramen tonight."

Naruto didn't say anything at first. "Iruka-sensei!" He tackled him in a hug. Iruka chuckled. "Hey! Make room for me!" i yelled before jumping on them into their embrace. We laughed and had a great together.

Huh, maybe there are some people who does care about us. Maybe one day, the whole village...no, the whole world will care about us. But for now, we just gonna have to do this one step of a time.
