I sit, gently swaying on the same swing I'm always at. I cant focus on the book open in my lap. Axel. I close the book , and stuff it into my back pocket. Axel.

I hop off the swing and wander aimlessly around the park. I stop occasionally at parts of the park, memories washing over me. I smile. Some wonderful things have happened here --

"AAAAH!!"

A terrible noise interrupts my stroll down memory lane. I recognize the voice immediately. Its my boyfriend, Axel. I see him tear across the soccer field, two boys following in hot pursuit. Chasing him.

I narrow my eyes, furious. I recognize the boys as well, its Marluxia and Luxord. They seem to hate him… Screaming insults, they race after him.

Finally, Axel spots me. He turns suddenly and heads in my direction. I stick out my hand, and he grabs it as he passes, jerking me along with him.

Hand in hand, we fly across the field.

Finally, we hear the most wonderful sound.

Silence.

They gave up.

Out of breath, we stop and lay down at "our" tree. Three months ago, when we first started dating, we snuck out and carved "Axel+Roxas4Ever" on it. Its on the bottom, close to the roots sticking up out of the grassy earth. Many people will never see it, however, my fingers find it immediately.

I sigh and lay my head on Axel's stomach.

"Tired from our run, Rox?" he asks with a smile.

"No." I answer. "I just want to be close to you." I wince as soon as the words are out of my mouth. They didn't sound so….cheesy in my head. Oh well, it's the truth.

My head bounces up and down as his stomach shakes with laughter. I feel his hands to go my head and twirl my hair around his long, slender fingers.

We lay there for ages, just gazing at the sky.

--Later--

I must have fallen asleep, because when I open my eyes, its almost dark outside. The streetlights are just starting to flicker on. I blink groggily and turn over to find Axel. My back cracks from the awkward position I'm in, and I find his foot. I run my hand up his slender body until I find his face. My vision finally clearing, I see his smiling face staring back at me.

I feel my face break into a grin. I cant help it.

He leans down and gently presses his lips against mine. When he pulls back, he smirks.

"It's about time. I thought you'd gone comatose."

I giggle and push him onto his back. I kiss him. He sighs and kisses me back.

Our lips fit perfectly.

He rolls over on top of me. I lock my fingers around his waist as he runs his through my hair. He moves down to my neck, kissing and softly biting the skin. I moan slightly and he kisses my lips again.

I love him so much.

He stops kissing me and rolls onto the grass. He stands up and pulls me into a great big bear hug. I close my eyes and hug him back.

Suddenly, I hear his silky voice in my ear.

"Babe, I love you so much. I cant live without you. I'm utterly, completely, unconditionally in love with you"

My heart speeds up and it's a wonder I don't have a heart attack.

He loves me.

"I love you too, Axe. I love you so much it hurts." I whisper back. "it's a wonderful, glorious hurt."

I feel him let go. He's staring at me with the biggest smile on his lovely face.

"Really?"

"Of course Really!" I reply, placing a soft kiss on his soft lips between each word. \He takes my chin and tilts my face up towards his.

"Here's lookin' at you, kid"

I laugh and he kisses me. I feel him smile into the kiss as I wrap my arms around his neck.

We pull apart and lay down on our backs, side by side. Hands intertwined, we just lay there and enjoy one another's presence.

"There's no other place in the world I'd rather be than right here with you" I say to him.

He squeezes my hand and turns to me. Propped up on one elbow, he stares at me.

"Me too, love. Me too"
