I marveled at the sight in front of me.
"Do you know why we're here?" I asked and my voice echoed and carried itself out in the large open space.
"Answer me," I said firmly, thankful that he couldn't see my smile.
"Yes, Sir," he replied, his voice low and even.
"And?" I pushed.
"It's because I can't stay quiet, Sir," he finally answered.
"Exactly, Jasper, I don't have these rules in place without having a valid reason and you broke the key rule. I asked you to stay quiet and you didn't. Now you have to face the consequences."
