Still was something Bobby Goren could be at the drop of a hat. Whether it was because his mother said that anything that moved was evil and should be eradicated, or so that his father would think he was sleeping and just pass out. He had learned the definition of still practically before he could say his ABC's

"Still: Himself. Free from disturbance, agitation, or commotion. Silence; quiet. Without movement; motionlessly." Bobby could recite this in his sleep. He also had many images of still in his mind. Frozen winter mornings, and stone monuments were among these. He had been still for so much of his life he was afraid he'd forgotten what movement was.

"Motion: Her. The act or process of changing position or place. The manner in which the body or a body part moves. The act of changing location from one place to another." This was something he was continuously working on remembering. Everything around him reminded him of motion. Sometimes he would forget.

Then he would look to her, she could give him motion. That's what she was to him Energy. He found that when he was with her he could forget Still. If he was away from her for too long he would always revert back to still. He didn't ever want her to have to experience that. When he thought of the definition of Motion Bobby thought of only one thing even though he knew there were many other definitions for the word. His daughter. Constance Alexandra Goren.
