Secret Voice: Chapter 1

An Alluring Voice

"Hiding away, losing the day…as if it doesn't really matter"

Sakura sang softly as she crossed the old bridge to the park. Her park. When she was 3, she and her parents moved into the neighborhood in which they now live, and they took her here. It was the back side of a park that was connected to the neighborhood by this bridge. The whole area was surrounded by lots and lots of trees. The river extended on both sides underneath the bridge. They used to take her here quite often, but even though as she got older she started coming more and more…her parents came less and less.

"Saying goodbye, scared to say why…

Afraid it will

Shatter our world"

She crossed the end of the bridge and stepped in to the park that she adored. She knew just about every nook and cranny of this place. When she was younger, she would play with the neighborhood kids here, they would spend hours and hours exploring the place, playing every game they could think off. There was a forgotten memory embedded in every part, and she loved it all. She loved the old football field and the baseball field that hardly any one ever used. And she loved the old play sets for the little kids if they ever came. The way it all seemed to disappear at one point or the next. Mostly she loved hanging out in the ditch.

"Show me some faith now Trust me somehow"

She walked along the line of trees a little ways to where it thinned out enough for her to slip through and slide down the dirt hill. She came to the bottom of the hill where there was room to walk up and down this side of the river. Slowly she started to walk down along watching the river ebb and flow.

"Why are we keeping are secrets?

Why are we hiding ourselves away?

Anyway we can hide away…

I don't wanna fake it"

Every day after school she'd come down here and wander about. The river seemed to go on forever, even though she knew it didn't. Sakura long ago gave up trying to find the end of it. Still, she never got tired of it all. Sometimes she would just lay down in the grass in what used to be the football field, just lay there and watch the clouds roll by.

'I wanna make you believe, what I say.

I wont let you hide away hide away.."

Gaara grabbed some boxes from the moving van and headed inside. When he walked in he sat them down and saw he sister unpacking boxes that were labeled KITCHEN. His brother had disappeared somewhere, so he headed back out side.

"Where do we go, how do we know…

What we're ever really after"

Gaara turned around facing the backyard. The gate that went around it had a latch where you could open it and go to…where exactly? He walked toward it and opened the gate and saw that it led down into a creek.

Sakura paused for a sec and looked at her watch. 4:40….'Crap!' She had to fix dinner. She ran back and headed home.

Gaara walked down into the creek and looked around and walked this way and that. There was nothing there. He sighed and turned around and headed back inside. 'Where did the voice come from?'

Author's Note: …Yeah so that was it, I hope it wasn't boring. I don't know…..Anyway…
