Prologue:

My name is Tobias.
And I needed mental pills.

The Rachel hit The Blade Ship.The impact was so hard my hands f
elt like they were about to fall off.Jake groaned.I looked around.Marco
laughed,then stopped,staring intently at something.I looked.The two And
alites who had come along with us were.....
Dead.
Jake looked crushed.After all,he was the leader and the leader
makes sure no one dies.
But they did.
I felt incredibly sorry.But we had diffrent problems.The Rachel
had taken more of the impact than the Blade Ship.So now a big gigantic
dent was in the docking deck.
"Crap."said Marco sardonically.
"Man,this stinks."said Jake dejectedly.
"You ca-"
Marco couldn't finish.The Kelbrid had entered the docking bay.
There were about 170 of them.
Not very good odds.
Then.....
The One.
The One entered.It had transformed.Now you could see pieces of
Ax in him,looking defeated.It was a horrible sight.I began to cry.I did
n't care what the others thought.This was honderous.The One began to la
ugh.It sounded familiar,like something I quite couldn't put my finger o
n.The Kelbrid began to laugh,but it sounded like a squirrel bouncing of
f a truck.Like a squeak.
"Surrender,human fools,then maybe you won't die a very bad death.."The
One said tauntingly.
"We are the Animorphs"Jake said calmly.
How could he be so calm?170 Kelbrid and The One?

The One jerked unexpectantly.There it was!Something kept on nagging at
my mind.
Why did The One seem so familiar?
Anyway,I looked behind me.
I saw Melissa Chapman.
"Hello."she said calmly,like everyone knew she was there all along.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOKAY"Marco said skeptically.
The One looked shellshocked.
"Human?Human........"
I was still staring at Melissa,but she was gaping at The One.So I also
turned my gaze on The One.
I saw something to horrible to imagine.
Inside The One stood Rachel Berenson.
