This is a duet between a male voice (Zidane) and a female voice (Garnet). The female voice goes into the second soprano range, so it's just a little above average female range. The guy's part is toward the lower alto range, so a baritone would be best.
The original version was on my now defunct computer. Most of this is recreated from my memory of the lyrics, which were partially written by Dragyn—but this version was only fitted with her minor edits. There is still some work to be done on it the second line of the second verse, for example so I'm sure I'll edit it eventually.

Bittersweet RomanceLyrics by Saffire Raynius and Dragyn
Music by Nobuo Uematsu
(Zidane)
Bittersweet
romance
Gone
without a chance
Can
the heartstrings break free
From
this misery?
Is
it all left to fate?
A
guilty heart burns
Like
moth to flame
And
is the world to blame?
Much
we've left unsaid
The
words that I'll regret
Can
we grasp for torn wings
Can
we flee this fate?
Longing
bittersweet melody
Slowly,
it fades to black
(Garnet)
Bittersweet
romance
Tenderhearted
dance
Was
our love just a lie?
Shall
it slowly die?
Hope
has no hand in fate
A
quiet heart yearns
Yet
untamed
And
we'll never be the same
Lost
in your embrace
Of
love I've just a taste
Yet
the cage'd bird sings
Of
the dreams that wait
Trembling
bittersweet harmony
Fades
when I wish it back
